The Peak Testosterone Program

Any of you guys ever watch Star Trek? Well, if you did, you will remember Bones' Tricorder. Basically, it was a device that scanned a patient's body and instantly gave the good doctor a summary as to what was wrong with the patient. No messy blood draws or waiting days for lab results on television! I have little doubt that advanced technology will one day make such things possible, but in the meantime a huge number of day-to-day ailments, such as low libido, erectile dysfunction, fatigue, achiness, depression, etc. require the "throw-it-against-the-wall-and-see-what-sticks-approach."

Guys come to the Peak Testosterone Forum for example and want some way to make themselves feel better. In fact, let me list you the symptoms that I had about 8 years ago and tell me if some of these do not look familiar to many of you:

  • Low libido
  • Erectile Dysfunction
  • No Morning Erections
  • Mild Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Muscle Aches and Joint Pains
  • Miserable, Unrestful Sleep
  • I see some combination of these symptoms almost every day on the Forum . It happens over and over and over and most of it is from the damage of Western Diet and lifestyle. Now, in my case, I found that a low fat diet helped with about half of my symptoms. Then, when I went on cypionate and restored my testosterone to more youthful levels, the other half of my symptoms went away. These two have basically solved the solid majority of the issues that I was experiencing. However, this is not necessarily true for all men. Some men with a lot of beta cell damage may not be able to eat a low fat diet. And some men may not need HRT and may instead have troubles with other hormones such as those of the thyroid or adrenals. Just keep in mind that most guys have 2 or 3 issues that they need to fix to feel good again. And that is what the Peak Testosterone Progam is all about - trying to get a man to look at the most common reasons for the seemingly untreatable quality-of-life destroyers that plaque us modern, urban dwellers.

The bottom line is that many things can cause or exacerbate the above symptoms and a man usually owes it to himself to go through each one of these, with a good physician's help generally of course, and troubleshoot his underlying issues. You generally will have to be the prime mover, because our health care system is just so resource-taxed at this point. If I had not pushed my physician, I would never have received treatment for my low testosterone. And finding a Low Fat Diet was something I did on my own along with exercising. My phyisician had probably about 50 pounds of extra visceral fat at the time, so he was not going to help me with diet and nutrition!

Again, scan through each one of these one-by-one and see which may apply.  If your insurance does not cover any pertinent tests, just realize that you can usually get them yourself - except in a few Gestapo-like states - for a very reasonable price.  See my page on Inexpensive Labs for more information.
