LIKELY PROSTATE CANCER CURE USING TESTOSTERONE
« on: November 30, 2016, 06:54:39 pm »
This is incredible and was sent to me by a former senior poster on here (BigJohn).  Researchers apparently cycled testosterone from high to low and have cured prostate cancer and lowered PSA's to 0 with it in many patients:

http://www.mirror.co.uk/science/prostate-cancer-sufferer-cured-revolutionary-9367407

"A man with advanced prostate cancer that was not responding to treatment may have been ‘cured’ with a new therapy using testosterone.

The experimental treatment involves shocking tumours to death with the drug.

Other seriously ill men taking part in the same trial showed responses that astounded scientists .

Tumours were seen to shrink and in several patients progress of the disease was halted.

Levels of Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), a blood marker used to monitor prostate cancer, fell in the majority of the 47 participants."

"One individual whose PSA levels dropped to zero after three months and shows no remaining trace of the disease after 22 cycles of treatment appears to be cured, said the researchers

All the men taking part in the pilot trial had completed at least three cycles of “bipolar androgen therapy” (BAT) which involves alternately flooding and starving the body of the male hormone testosterone."

This is very timely because we also have a study showing that chemo only makes the PC cells more cancerous!  See this thread:

If you are on medications or have a medical condition, always check with your doctor first before making any lifestyle changes or taking new supplements. Yes, low T and E.D. are usually medical conditions.  There are potential risk with HRT:  http://www.peaktestosterone.com/testosterone_risks.aspx.

That is amazing.  Hope it bears fruit in the form of medical treatment!

And hope the FDA and other roadblocks don't cause too much suffering by frowning and giving it the thumbs down -- you know, because testosterone.

I wonder what they consider high-dose testosterone therapy?  If it is above TRT levels, then it would be off-label and therefore not legal for a controlled substance (at least that's my understanding... I hope that's not the case).
Age: 36
178 lbs 5'8''

Current Treatment: 50 mg testosterone cypionate IM, twice a week
Low T Symptoms: Chronic pelvic pain, and other neuropathic pain.  Mild anxiety, low energy and low motivation
Meds: Amitriptyline (for pain, not depression), Clonidine (for sleep, not blood pressure)

I guess I'll be fine then, as my levels have cycled many times between 25 and 2000 over the years. I ran out of cream a while back and my T levels were, unfortunately, tested by my doc during routine bloodwork. T was 68 (range 348-1197 lab's normal range) . Back on the cream, and levels jump to the mid-low 700's. Where I typically feel best.
53 years old
Autoimmune Hashimoto's, near zero natural T production
Cause: severe mononucleosis in my early 30's
Weight 200
Height 5' 10"
Very active, daily workouts and some cardio.
0.75g compounded 10% T cream, rotated daily to shaved armpits, shaved shoulders, remainder on scrotum
169Mg WPthyroid (same as old Armour formulation)
Perfect bloodwork labs (Mar 2017) , my T=702, TSH 0.5, other thyroid levels normal.

Daily workouts with weights, low-glycemic diet, high in clean protein, very low carb (salad/fish/low fat meats, uncooked veggies, nothing else, ever) Carbs/starch can cause me to have intestinal problems, so I avoid them.

Details should start rolling out soon.  I love how natural this is.  I mean it's not perfectly innocuous I am sure but its got to a quantum leap from chemo, radiation and prostertectomy!

Prostate cancer is a b*tch.    One of my best friends had the radical surgery and is doing fine.   Another friend was in very bad shape, kept fighting it, fighting it for a long time, and tried to get into one of these trials, flying out to the East Coast to interview and was turned down.    After he was denied, he gave up, and died a short time afterwards.    Now, another friend has been fighting prostate cancer for a while, and just found out cancer has spread into the bones.

Dr. John Lee reported two decades ago that men he gave progesterone combined with testosterone had their cancer stopped.

Here is an article on his views: PROSTATE PROBLEMS AND HORMONES

Dr. John Lee based these ideas on Ray Peat's writings, but they disagree on what is the right diet.

 ESTROGEN CAUSES CANCER
teh  hormonally sensitive prostate, much like breast tissue, would get cancer

. The thinking became that if lowering testosterone makes prostate cancer ... We almost never see it in men in their peak testosterone years, in their 20s for instance.

I think we have to be careful in our wording here, because imo it's HIGH estradiol that can lead to prostate cancer:

http://www.peaktestosterone.com/High_Estradiol_Prostate_Cancer_BPH.aspx

But, sure, estradiol stimulates growth and cell division generally:

You can bet anything that you like that it will NEVER be approved. It will just fade away into medical obscurity.

God forbid that people will not be told that exogenous Testosterone causes cancer, brain tumors and everything else.

There have been reports out there for years indicating that it's elevated ESTROGEN and not Testosterone that exacerbates Prostate cancer, but no-one seems to care. After all, we WANT people to stop breeding as early in life as possible so we can make room for more immigrants (who don't have a problem with low T) and to get people obese and DIE as early as possible, thus saving the Govt lots on money on Pensions.

Do I place my trust in the medical profession? I wonder why not?
