Other than the standard changes such as libido and energy, I have been feeling random interesting mood changes with my increased T:

-Music sounds way better and for the first time in years I am listening to music again while at home without doing anything else. Just sitting there and enjoying the music. I used to do this a lot when I was younger.

-Old hobbies seem interesting again.

-I have been researching classes that I've wanted to take but never did and am going to pursue one of two this month.

Overall things are pretty good! :) You guys ever experience changes like this?

Glad to hear!  You're hitting estrogen in two ways by both decreasing its conversion from testosterone (anastrozole) and also through clearing out bad forms (16a-hydroxyestrone) and increasing good forms (2-hydroxyestrone).

I noticed similar changes, especially when first fixing my testosterone levels.  Stuff I usually enjoy, I enjoy a lot more (low testosterone causes a sort of low-grade anhedonia).

I also got off my butt and finally started doing some things that I had been procrastinating about.... this goes along with the lowered anxiety and increased confidence from restoring testosterone.  There's been some research on testosterone causing people to take greater investment risks, which is just a more pronounced example of the same thing.

Absolutely!  I've said virtually the exact same thing on here regarding music.

I have definitely noticed an uptick in enjoyment of music and some other things since getting my T sort of sorted out (not sure if levels in the high 300s to low 500s are ideal).

More intense dreams, like back in the old days, but that seemed to spike when I likely tanked Estrogen from accidentally taking 2.5 months of Anastrazole in a week.

Still curious if I'd be getting better results with "real" TRT instead of Clomid.

43 years old
5'7", was 220 pounds when trouble started, now down to 165
Trouble began with abrupt ED Early May '15
Initial T level 130
Started Clomid in hopes of rebooting system June '15
Currently taking 25 mg eod and .25 mg Arimidex every 4 days
T level 480 or so at last reading
ED in check with 2.5 mg Cialis eod and supplements:
POM juice, L-Cit, Pycnogenol

Morning anxiety currently in check with GABA taken every night

Biggest current worry is heart health:
Aortic stenosis (very mild for now)
CAC score 156(!) at age 42
Lp(a) is a shockingly bad 390 nmol/L -- TRIPLE the "extremely high risk" level!
Homozygous for the bad "G" variant of SNP rs10455872, which increases Lp(a) as well as odds for aortic stenosis and coronary artery lesions.
I think I know what trashed my heart...

40 mg Crestor and baby aspirin every day
CoQ-10, Vitamin K2, and Kyolic Aged Garlic Extract every day too
Walking 10,000 steps a day

Nice to keep that HPT axis functioning as possible tho, eh?

I dont know why this happens.

I was talking to my sons piano teacher about the fact that kids have trouble playing with feeling and emotion prior to puberty.   Watch a YouTube video sometime of a child prodigy in music. You'll find that they can play with incredible precision, technical skill and velocity. However what is almost always missing is the passion from the music. That apparently comes after puberty and all the hormones.

Just a comment to agree with the posters above:  since going on TRT, my appreciation for many things including music has gone way up.  I have so much more emotional range now, it is great to feel alive again.  My E2 levels were quite low (15 on the sensitive test) along with the low free T.  Now I am in the low 30's and T is up towards 1000.  A totally different mental outlook.
Age 50, 5'10, 155 lbs
Cholesterol 157 (HDL 51, LDL 94, Trigs 78, LDL-P 850)
Fasting Glucose 90 (down from 97 pre TRT)
A1C:  5.2 (down from 5.7 per TRT)
Homocysteine:  12.4 > 11.0 > 10.2 > 8.9 using B vitamin therapy.  MTHFR positive

BP  120/78 (using plant based diet and 10 mg Lisinopril ACE Inhibitor)  145/90 prior to meds.

Current protocol:  70 mg Test Cyp IM every 5 days.
2/15/17 labs:  Total T (peak day): 1169 (250 - 1100 ng/dl).  Free T 198 pg/ML (46-225).  Sensitive E2: 40 High.  Previously 32. PSA 0.2  Hemocrit 44.2. SHBG: 32

Supplements:  Multivitamin, plus additional B12, B6, D, K2, Fish Oil, Magnesium, and Coq10

Evening stack:  3g Cittruline, 100 mg Pycnogenol, 2.5G Kyolic garlic, 1 LEF Endothelial defense   2 mg Cialis EOD, or as needed

"Emotional range" - great descriptive phrase.  Yeah, I am wondering if 15-22 pg/ml is the old 20-30 pg/ml on the old estradiol assays?  You might want to start a thread asking that?  Seems like we've had a few guys feeling that way, i.e. that they felt very good near 15 pg/ml.

I thought 15 was considered too low?

Well, I don't know if 15 pg/ml actually is off the old assay or LC-MS/MS.  I'm starting to wonder, because so many guys seem feel good on here in the 15-20 range with LC-MS/MS.  But I don't know the answer to that one...
