« on: April 04, 2017, 06:38:54 pm »
Saw this mentioned on one of Chris Kresser's pages.

Has anybody found any benefit?

I have tried CBD for sleep. I must say it has a very relaxing effect. Almost similar to lorazepam. But I did find i still felt groggy the next day. I still have to take more time to experiment with different dosages.

One of the guys on here used it and as far as I know is still using it to keep abfairly good-sized prostate cancer nodule in check.
If you are on medications or have a medical condition, always check with your doctor first before making any lifestyle changes or taking new supplements. Yes, low T and E.D. are usually medical conditions.  There are potential risk with HRT:  http://www.peaktestosterone.com/testosterone_risks.aspx.

Besides the groginess did you still find good effects the next day? How about improved mood/outlook?

I tried a lose dosage and it caused rapid heart briefly, a lift and I felt a little hyper the rest of the day, making it hard to settle down at night. But, then again I'm hyper sensitive to everything.

That's interesting, because it is used sometimes for insomnia:

Of course, in that case, this is insomnia from PTSD, trauma, etc.
