Title: Anxiety and low T
Post by: jjones1642 on February 13, 2017, 11:21:09 pm
I have had health anxiety on and off for about 7 years. I have been fine until this month. I take 200mg of testosterone cypionate monthly. It has been almost 3 weeks since my last injection. Could this be causing my anxiety being ramped up? I am 34 and my test level was 243 in December.

Welcome. Are you saying that you have one injection a month of 200 mg? If so this could certainly cause problems. Infrequent injections usually put a guy on a hormonal roller coaster. How long have you been on TRT? When was your testosterone measured relative to your last injection?

Been on trt about a year. I went to have my blood work done right before my next injection was due.  Going to talk to the doc tomorrow. Hopefully I can get some clarity on this.

I would urge you to consider injecting weekly, twice weekly or even more.  Once a month is just a horrible protocol.  Even weekly is not enough for me.  I inject 3x/week for best results.  If you take 200mg/month.  That also means you are getting the equivelent of 50mg/week.  That is a lot less than many guys on here are taking.  Most guys are taking over 100mg/week.

Thank you for the reply. I will see what the doc says.
