Title: Renew Man HRT Clinic
Post by: Sam on April 20, 2013, 01:32:36 pm

Hi Guys,

I came across this site for HRT in the Bay Area.   They look a little expensive to me (They post their prices) but what caught my eye the most is they have a pretty comprehensive website.

I found their comments around DHEA in men and Adrenal Fatigue in men particularly relevant to my situation.  And the bolded comment below in direct contradiction to what my Kaiser endo's told me that none of these things are interconnected.   Again, this is just info on the web, so it "must be true" right.  :-)   I'm just posting as a reference in my search for alternative view points.

Many other alterations take place at the biochemical and cellular levels in response to adrenal fatigue and compensate for the decrease in adrenal hormone cortisol and DHEA. Your body does its best to make up for under-functioning adrenal glands, but it does so at a price. The price is hormone imbalance and all its consequences.
1.Use a good adrenal supplement to rejuvenate the adrenal glands
2.Remove sources of stress from your life as best you can
3.Learn basic stress control techniques such as deep breathing
4.Ensure that you have healthy balanced hormones: testosterone in men, thyroid in men, DHEA in men, and if possible human growth hormone
5.Be “creatively active”
6.Use a “brain food” supplement—the brain is a special muscle – it requires special nutrients.
7.Eat a sensible diet
8.Use a good multiple vitamin

Catchy huh.

One of the things I like about them is that they do seem to be focuses on mens hormonal health as the name would suggest.
