Title: Loose, mushy testicles, difficulty getting and maintaining erection and more...
Post by: Floyd2 on May 07, 2012, 02:47:19 pm
wow, i just previewed this and it's VERY LONG. i hope someone reads it. anyway, here it goes.

Hello, everyone, just saw the forum recently while going crazy on the web trying to find out what's causing my symptoms (haven't we all), so i decided to post and ask everyone here if they've had something similar happen to them because i am freaking out. I will try to keep it as short as i can, but i really want to mention everything that might have something to do with my current condition.

I am 29 and in good health other than being a bit out of shape from sitting too much on a computer. Never been fat, i am 180 cm tall, 75 kg. but i a have a little belly which is normal i guess when you sit too much. The last 2-3 years i have masturbated maybe way too much, even when i had sexual relationships i still masturbated daily. When i didn't i masturbated even more, 2 times a day at least and up to 5-6 sometimes i guess. Still i never had problems, my testicles were very firm and my penis could get erect literally on command.

And then something happened literally over night and i'm not sure what caused it. I had sex that night, and before i ejaculated the girl pressed with her hand between my testicles. She did it a bit harder, but i didn't feel any pain at all. I have to mention this, because the problem started the next morning. Woke up, went to the toilet and felt that my penis was softer, like the skin was more tender and i somehow felt that it was detached from my testicles. I felt that day that i couldn't get a good erection, but didn't think too much of it, so i continued as normal, but only a couple of days later i noticed my testicles started getting saggy and loose. After 5-6 days they were all over the place, i felt like i had NO SCROTUM, like there wasn't anything to hold them in place. It's sort of a weightless feeling. Even with an erection, my testicles are all over the place and when i lay on my back they are just flat like a pancake. I have no pain except for a slight pulling sensation on the left side just over my penis. I started having weaker erections and my penis started getting dry, there was no precum when i had an erection and the color didn't look natural, like a forced erection or something like that. It is important to mention that i started urinating a lot more frequently than before, but attributed that to my cold at the time. I started panicking of course and went to a urologist immediately. I had unprotected sex with a couple of girls so i thought it may have something to do with that.

The urologist who saw me said that there was nothing abnormal with my penis and testicles (although it looked completely different from before but he wouldn't know that of course), he took a swab sample, urine culture, sperm culture  (i guess that's what they're called in English) and i tested positive for a bacteria called Streptococcus agalacticae. I was like, oh so that's what caused it, great. He gave me antibiotics and when i did the test again i was clean. But the problems didn't go away at all, they got worse. My penis was completely lifeless and my testicles totally mushy and all over the place, i was afraid to sit for a while because they were so stretched and saggy that i could sit on them. I started feeling extreme depression, had no libido, couldn't sleep at all and generally lost the will to live.

I went to a second urologist 3 months later (around 4 months ago), he also said that everything is normal on touch and look. He touched my prostate and said it was fine, and the ultrasound was ok as well. Of course he thought i was in panic and imagining things because of my erection problem. He recommended these pills [edited by moderator] and said patients were satisfied with them. I took them and they really helped with my erection (this is not a commercial), but even when i was having very hard erections, something didn't feel right, the precum still wasn't there and the testicles were still very loose, only before ejaculating they were getting contracted. Anyway i took em for 2 weeks and had solid erections maybe a week or two after that. After that it was back to square one. Went back to see him and he told me to check my lower back, maybe there's something impinged. I did that and it was all fine.

I took another 10-15 of those pills because i was extremely depressed, but i NEVER stopped masturbating, because i somehow felt that if i continue masturbating, everything is normal. But it wasn't at all. Then i started reading about testosterone on the internet and i went to check my level. I didn't think it was the problem because it happened OVER NIGHT and i thought "well my T couldn't have dropped so low all of a sudden". I just asked the urologist if they did testosterone tests and i went and did it. He didn't mention when is the best time of day to do it, so i didn't know about that. I went at around 18:00 i think. (keep in mind i had some pills the days before i wasn't aware of this either and that MONKEY didn't tell me anything)

My T level was 451 ng/dl and i had FSH 2.53, the doctor said it was good but at that point i didn't believe anything he was saying anymore. By the way in the meantime i did every possible blood test and it was all within normal limits.

Went to a third urologist who is an esteemed doctor in my country, he did the ultrasound too and didn't see anything, he also thought there was nothing wrong with me and told me: don't worry, you are fine, get a suspender for your testicles and don't worry...

So here i am still with the same problem. I stopped masturbating and watching porn completely a week ago, and like two months or so ago i started doing some exercise (which is still far from enough) and taking vitamin C and Magnesium. My energy and libido are somewhat better and i do get more sleep than i used to, but the other symptoms remain. Three urologists didn't know what to tell me and they all thought it was psychological. I am trying to remain positive, but i have episodes where i am near breakdown.
It is very important to mention that my testicles are a bit better in the morning after a good night sleep, and at night it's really gross because my testicles are extremely loose. Oh and i have morning erections but even then the testicles are not firm.

I don't know how to finish this, or if i missed something, i would gladly answer all your questions and even provide pics if you want, because i really am getting desperate.

Well, I don't know how hard she grabbed you and exactly where, but it sounds like this woman may have hit your pudendal nerve?  Look at these descriptions from the following article:

http://ukpmc.ac.uk/abstract/MED/2231888

The Journal of Urology [1990, 144(5):1147-53], "Arteriographically determined occlusive disease within the hypogastric-cavernous bed in impotent patients following blunt perineal and pelvic trauma."

"Those who sustained blunt pelvic trauma and complained of immediate impotence revealed arterial occlusive lesions mainly in the internal pudendal, common penile, cavernous and dorsal arteries."

Now she would have had to have grabbed you pretty hard to do this as obviously since every little bump and pinch isn't going to do damage.  But this may be something you want to ask a physician about?

thanks for replying so fast, i mentioned the girl grabbing me because it happened the night before i noticed the first symptoms, i can't say if it was definitely that. anyway, she didn't grab me harder than i have grabbed myself and i have also been hit there before, but of course she may have hit the exact spot or something. what about everything else i said, the extremely loose testicles, do you know someone with these symptoms? the whole place looks like it's not nourished or something, i don't know how else to explain other than what i said in the original post.
i spent a lot of money trying to figure out what's wrong and i don't know what else to do, if it's trauma and the arteries are injured is this expensive to check? and is it reversible?

Well, the reason I brought up the nerve issue is because your testosterone is pretty good considering you got a reading at 6 pm.  Now some guys have abnormally high estradiol readings and this can cause problems, so that might be worth getting checked, but I doubt that's it.

It's possible, but unusual (esp in a younger guy) for a varicocele to suddenly appear.  But you're not really describing that situation:

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/001284.htm

But I have to ask something as I'm a little confused:  outside of "testicular softness", what are you symptoms right now?  Are you having some pain and, if so, where?  Are you having loss of morning erections?  erectile dysfunction?

Again, thanks for replying. And for mentioning what i forgot. The last urologist said i had varicose veins, 13 mm. on the left side of my testicles, 3 mm on the right. But i KNOW i have always had that when i touched my testicles before, so i doubt that could suddenly cause all these symptoms, but i'm not excluding it. Anyway the doctor said it's a really low grade varicocelle and it was no cause for concern and that i should just have it checked from time to time in case it got worse.

These are the symptoms i'm having right now besides the extremely loose and mushy testicles:  still low energy and libido (not as low as it was), difficulty getting an erection, i can get it only if i stimulate myself and even then it's not very hard and lasts very short and it even looks forced and unnatural. it's like my penis is very warm when erect, with the pills i couldn't feel that warmness and erections looked more natural (even though the testicles were still loose) last time i was with a woman i got an erection but again it was soft and i couldn't maintain it. urinating a bit too frequently and being unable to hold my urine AND my stool (which is softer), which is really annoying. i am however getting morning erections and those seem to look healthier than during the day.

All this made me think it was some kind of a muscle tear or some tissue damage, but i can't find anyone complaining of the same symptoms in the testicles and i don't know what to test next. My other hormone levels, my thyroid?? I know you read and answer a lot of posts, so again thanks for taking the time.

oh and i just read a bit into this thread "Penile fracture, low test, and hypothyroidism" and like the thread starter says i too feel VERY indifferent towards everything. I can't feel my heart "racing" as i used to before, no matter what's going on.

There are a lot of feedback systems that we have that have been poorly documented and investigated.  For example, Botox decreases facial expressiveness and researchers have found that this makes people more emotionless.  It's not unreasonable to think that pudendal nerve issues could create an even more powerful response in males, i.e. if the brain was not getting that feedback from downstairs that something just shuts off in the brain.  That seems to be what you guys are describing.

But I just noticed something:  you said you are getting morning erections?  This is a very good sign and should mean that there is no permanent damage downstairs.  If you've poked around a bit on the forum, you'll notice that there is discussion as to how there are really two somewhat separate systems possibly for waking and morning erections...

Yes, recently i've been waking up with erections which i can't achieve during the day. The thing is, i've had an episode like 2-3 years ago when i couldn't get it up for like a week, but everything else was the same, so i really wouldn't panic if getting an erection was my only problem now. Now it seems like my whole scrotum is changed and this is not just me. I was with this girl i had sex with before this started, and of course she noticed huge changes, mainly the testicles laying FLAT and different color of the head of my penis. I seriously wouldn't be that much worried if getting an erection was my only problem, because i know that's reversible, and i don't know about this, because i went to three urologists who all said there was nothing wrong, and a dermatologist said there's nothing wrong with my skin... the whole place is just SOFTER, both my testicles and my penis and there's a void under my penis which is VERY noticeable and probably there because my testicles are hanging very low... of course i have excess skin now because it stretched a lot since this happened... i am in huge panic and don't know what to do i started taking those pills again, i said i wouldn't but today i took one... it does help me maintain a harder erection and the penis does look healthier when erect... but the testicles and the scrotum are the same and i'm freaking out.
the main problem is i don't know what to check anymore and my financial situation is currently very bad

You may want to read this article on pudendal entrapment - it has some interesting and potentially helpful information:

http://en.allexperts.com/q/Urology-Male-issues-989/2008/5/ED-only-standing.htm

Check out Fig 38 in this for a pic:

http://www.emory.edu/ANATOMY/AnatomyManual/pelvis.html

Again, though, I believe you would not be getting morning erections if you were having major nerve issues, but ask your doc for sure.

But notice the doctor says that sometimes you have to get a doppler and do some add'l testing.

And, if at all possible, try to destress a little at least.  Remember that noradrenaline, a stress hormone, will keep you from getting an erection.  I'm not saying stress is your problem but just that that is only going to make things very difficult to troubleshoot.

thanks, as soon as i get money i will go and have that checked if it's possible at all in my country... but ever since this started i haven't felt any pain, apart from that slight pulling or stabbing sensation on the left side which i'm getting from time to time.
could it be something causing increased scrotal temperature?? the whole place feels warmer (and like i said softer) than it used to and when i get an erection it feels very hot. maybe that's why the testicles have dropped, maybe something increases the temperature inside, simple as that, but how would that start over night?

Floyd, you got me stumped on that last description.  I'll keep my eye out for something similar.  Let us know if you find out what you think the underlying issue is as well...

One poster felt like he had similar symptoms and believes he has pudendal nerve damage.  I split his posts out here:

:( not good that OP hasn't returned with an update. I have similar symptoms, and I think OP and me have something in common. I sit in front of a computer for long hours everyday due to my occupation, and I noticed as soon as I stopped going to the gym frequently my symptoms would increase. I also went to the doctor's today to get myself checked, and the doctor also re-assured me nothing was wrong.

I contacted the OP and asked him for an update as someone on the forum requested that since he had very similar symptoms.  He graciously wrote back with the following:

""Basically, i have some better days, and some bad days. It's somewhat better when i move a lot, play some sport or workout and when i avoid sitting for longer periods of time, but it's not necessarily a rule. Rest and a good night's sleep also helps and like i mentioned in the original post, i feel best in the morning. Applying some baby cream after baths sometimes makes it better, too. By the way, I reduced cigarettes and alcohol to a minimum, and i eat healthier so i feel a bit better in general. Also try to cut down on masturbating as much as you can. Sex with a condom is impossible for me, without a condom it's manageable, but still not what it used to be. And basically that's it. Keep in mind these things sometimes work for me, so i can't say for sure it will work for you:

http://everaccenthealth.com/powerdntwinhorses.html

Try them and see how they work for you, but ask around if you plan on using them for extended periods of time."

It's possible that girl who pressed his testicles hard caused a testicular torsion.

Hey man! I am currently having the same issue and I am thankful that Im not the only one going through this. I have red low saggy balls. loss of sensitivity in my penis. I am also having trouble keeping an erection. A girl in GA pulled something in my sac. It seems like a hate crime. I have found a few things that have helped in only a couple weeks and I will share the links to those things below. First I have some questions. Did the erection pills help you keep and maintain an erection during sex? also does abstaining from masterbation  help regain sensitivity? I know this is not a commercial so if you could give me the first letter of the erection pills you used that would be great. the links below have given me some erection strength and increased  sex drive. thanks

Hi,

Hope you still check this forum / receive notification and i hope you got better.
I have the same problem as Floyd and Sweking.

Background:
First of all, i have a healthy life style: i go to gym 4-5times per week, i eat well and healthy, i do stay at the office for 8-9hrs (which is nowadays normal). I don't smoke, i drink the occasionally the week end.

1 week and half ago i had unprotected sex with my girlfriend. during 1 week and 2 days i felt a very light burning/ itchying after peeing but nothing crazy. It stopped after that.
In the meant time we continue to have regular sex everyday day/ two day (with protection).
The day it stopped i was glad. the same night i went to bed normally and got awake a night because my balls were very loose.
My balls are now like describe by the others loose/saggy. it is not hot (were are in winter) so there is defenetely something unusual. I feel also soft on my penis (i didn't get ereection for the past 2 days).
All this happen overnight. I didn't have sex the past 2-3days before that (nor mastubating).
I am going to check doctor today or tomorrow.

Any news about you?
I know stress is a huge factor but i start to freak out (my balls are very uncomfortable because it too loose).

Not sure whether it is link to the burning sensation before that.

Any help will be great as i could find any solution on any forum so far.

Cheers

Hello everyone. Am new to this thread and I have the same problem. Somehow I know what is the issue that is causing the problem and it is Varicocele. Rest all is psychological problem that u pulled your testicle or did some nerve damage while having sex. I also have a varicocele in my left testicle and it elevates the temperature in the scrotum and lowers the testosterone levels. My best advice would be to stop masturbation all together and play some intense sport like football or hit the gym . Or get your varicocele surgery done if it is a higher grade varicocele and is affecting your fertility. Varicocele can also cause azoospermia so its better to consult an urologist before the problem gets out of control.
