Title: Cheapest Estrone and Cortisol Tests?
Post by: kquad on February 26, 2015, 08:16:44 pm
[MODERATOR SPLIT FROM HERE: http://www.peaktestosterone.com/forum/index.php?topic=6611.0.]

Also I checked some other forums and they told people to check their Estrone  level. I just checked these labs are quite expensive. My wife has a spending issue that she has been trying to hide, until I went to fix her tablet. Even mostly bedbound, she has managed to spend 40K since 1/2014. That on top of about 20K in medical bills for her. I am tapped. Before you ask, it is clothes and jewelry, which I never notice and the packages come when I am at work.

I think I will just stop the HCG and see if it gets better and then get the labs done. If anyone finds a cheap estrone, cortisol tests let me know.

It's only $49 here on the Quest side:

It's LCMSMS, so I would think it would be accurate, even for men, but you probably want to check a bit.

Thanks peak, I must have missed it, the browser word search did not work. It seems I have become lazy and unable to find things without it.

If you prefer lab corp, Nelson has it for $75:

What's the deal with Estrone, first I've heard of it.

Not sure VinnAY. I spent hours on the other TRT and steroid sites ( not as popular as this one  ;D) Other have had similar issues and there seemed to be 2 things that are possible causees outside E2

1. Just some extra sensitivity to higher doses  or levels. of testosterone ( some got better at 80 mg a week)
2 estrone was mentioned twice by moderators, one person has normal E2, but 14 times the range for estrone

Can you tell me more about the estrone connections?

Not much on it. It seems that it hits the same receptors as estradiol, but is much weaker. So, I guess, if you have a whole lot of it, it can do the same.

I wonder if Nelson is going to have a blood cortisol test available on the website. Cause earlier this week I had to order it seperately through lef.

People say saliva 4x is best but Idk cause I had that done through biohealth labs and it seemed kind of inaccurate as someone else in my family also showed low cortisol on the test but is totally normal without symptoms....

OK, It looks like if we stop HCG, then that should cut down on both the estradiol ( as I was aware of) and the estrone,  of which some comes from Androstenedione in the testicles.  Estrone is in the middle , as far as strength of the 3 estrogens. It can cause edema in men.

I think it was through the ability to order blood tests thru Defy that they had something labeled Estrone and I didn't know of it or had heard of it any where else.

Well, it's hard to go by the above logic I think:  I remember one man on here with testosterone in the low 200's who said he had no low T symptoms.
