Is indole-3-carbinol as efficient as Arimidex ?

Not at all. I don't know any study that shows it significantly lowers estradiol numbers. It shifts the metabolite profile from the good to the bad estrogens from what I understand.
If anyone can find a study that contradicts this, let me know. But I'm pretty sure I am correct, because every steroid guy on planet earth would be swallowing it like Pez if it was that easy.

You can use indoplex DIM to lower E2 and it works, but it's just as expensive as Arimidex. You get 60 pills for $30 and I guess each one of these pills would be equivalent to maybe .25 - .5 mg Arimidex. I have both, I've used both and they both worked the same for me.

I'm not saying you're not right in some men, but I'd like to see a study that shows DIM lowers E2.

how did you determine your correct dosage? I've been using some natures way DIM, as i suspect estrogen metabolism issues, started at 1 for now

I'm on the hypogonadism2 yahoo group and all of those guys use it. Theres a lot of threads you can read about it. Regular DIM isn't very good because the absorption rate is irregular. Indoplex DIM can be reliably absorbed if you take it with a meal. There's a lot of guys on hypogonadism2 that have blood test results to "prove it". The dosing is just like Arimidex. You have to find what works for you because everybody has different levels of aromatase activity. Anyway Arimidex is perfectly fine too.

Noted. Based on the title of the thread, these are guys on HRT then or maybe HCG?
And I'll keep this in mind. What sides to guys get from it? I'm sure if they take too much, they get the typical estrogen crash stuff. What else?
Can you give me the rough dosages the guys are taking?

Hypogonadism2 is mainly just some old guys on TRT, some of them are also using HCG too. It looks like one pill per day or a half a pill is usual. No mega doses because they aren't taking huge quantities of testosterone. There's only one brand of indolplex dim that I know of and everybody uses this one:

Okay, I'll keep this in mind. I gotta be honest that I think "the devil you do know (Arimidex) is better than the devil you don't", but I do find it very interesting...

I agree. There's no reason not to take Arimidex. But if you can't get it at all, there's this other stuff.

i think the DIM i bought is contains "bio response" which make the indoplex patient also so I guess so long as the ingredients list bioreponse or indoplex, should be good to go.
I've been running 1 cap per night which i think gives 25mg of DIM, will bump up to 2 caps after to see how things change. Not on TRT so may be a waste of time using it any way but i'm always open to trying new things and saliva has shown high estrogen so its worth a try

Be really careful with this. Going too low with estrogen can be dangerous:

I have never seen anything to prove that Bioresponse DIM does anything, the only thing I ever found it, and I used a lot of it for a while, was it increased libido...the company cant give me any evidence it does anything, I've only heard theories.
Course, I dont know any rational explanation about gravity either and Ive yet to float away

Definitely would give Arimidex a try if the doctor prescribes it. But what i am worried about is the side effects. Anyone here tried Boron to reduce estradiol ?
