I remenber a couple of years ago taking kyolic and it really lowered my cholesterol about 20 points in two months or a bit less

One subject I was reflecting today is the contact of underwear with detergents residues  on mucousal membranes like urethra and anus. This applies to men and women. Can't be good, not to mention the fact that these areas produce heat by clothing and irrigation of blood, releasing voc's to the membranes. ( hypothesis)

So I went to the organic store and bought the whole line of free chem detergents, laundry, surfaces, soaps, floor, for me and whole family as christmas gift ahah. The brand is canadian www.attitudeliving.com I dont know if it is good but I am going to try it.
Ingredients are derived from coconut anionics, sodium citrate, sodium gluconate, water.
The fragrance reminds me the laundry fragrance from 40 years ago, so good.
For surfaces it has caprylates, lactic acids, fatty acids, very low fragrance.
It has to be good and non toxic. Thank God this stuff exists on the shelfs.
As for price, is around 50%_70% more expensive than toxic stuff, but hey, at least my balls wont shrink 🙃

Methylisothiazolinone (MIT) is a biocide widely used in industrial and cosmetic products with potential as a neurotoxicant. We previously reported that short acute exposures to relatively high concentrations of MIT (100 μM) lead to widespread and selective neuronal death in vitro. To evaluate the biological properties of chronic exposures to MIT, freshly dissociated rat cortical neurons were continuously exposed to low concentrations (0.13 μM) of the biocide in serum-containing media. Although we observed minimal effects on cell viability, MIT induced a dramatic inhibition of neurite outgrowth. Immunoblotting and immunoprecipitation experiments revealed that focal adhesion kinase (FAK) phosphorylation was primarily affected by the MIT treatment. The phosphorylation level at tyrosines 576 and 861 of FAK was significantly decreased and likely contributed to the overall reduction of tyrosine phosphorylation of this protein. MIT inhibited Src family kinases (SFKs) in cell-free assays and led to the physical dissociation of FAK from the signaling complexes that it normally forms with c-Src and Fyn in developing neurons. High-density neuronal cultures were then employed to increase cell-to-cell contact. This approach resulted in an overall enhancement of SFKs and FAK phosphorylation and could overcome the deficits induced by MIT. This study suggests that a disruption of FAK-SFK complexes due to SFK inhibition leads to FAK dysfunction, with detrimental effects to immature neurons. Prolonged exposure to low levels of MIT and related compounds may have damaging consequences to the developing nervous system.

Isothiazolone and its derivatives are a class of common chemical biocides used as preservatives to control microbial growth in a very large number of industrial applications and in household products. These compounds have an active sulfur moiety that can react with and oxidize thiol-containing residues, thereby effectively killing most aerobic and anaerobic bacteria as well as fungi and other microorganisms (Collier et al., 1990). In addition, isothiazolone derivatives can inhibit human immunodeficiency virus replication in vitro (Rice et al., 1995) and can reduce tumor mass in a mouse model of human breast cancer (Wang et al., 2004).

Two widely used isothiazolone biocides are 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (CMIT) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT), which are the active ingredients in a biocide mixture sold commercially as Kathon. They are supplied either as a single chemical solution or in combination at a wide range of concentrations (1.550%). As the use of these compounds has risen dramatically in recent years, there is increased concern about their potential risks to humans through inhalation and skin contact. Previous in vitro studies have shown that CMIT and MIT are profoundly cytotoxic to different types of cell lines (Ettorre et al., 2003). In addition, our group has reported that MIT is a highly selective neurotoxin, largely sparing glia, following a short acute exposure in established, mature rat cerebrocortical cultures (Du et al., 2002). MIT, under these conditions, triggered noncaspase-dependent cell death following the liberation of intracellular zinc and sequential activation of 12-lipoxygenase, extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK), and NADPH oxidase, leading to reactive oxygen species production, DNA damage, and overactivation of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (Du et al., 2002).

In the present study, we sought to investigate the neurotoxic consequences of prolonged applications of MIT at much lower concentrations than those utilized previously. Here, we present evidence that MIT can inhibit Src family kinases (SFKs) and describe a MIT-induced disruption of the functional interaction between focal adhesion kinase (FAK) and SFKs. This results in a reduced level of tyrosine phosphorylation on FAK that is probably responsible for MIT's neurotoxic actions on developing cortical neurons in vitro.

This guys from big industries dont stop surprising me.


I have done a set of allergy patch tests this week to find that I am super allergic to some components in liquid detergents, specially to something called euxyl 100, euxyl 400.

My house keeper sometimes abuse from the detergent, I feel it in the smell.

I dont have rashes on the skin but I always got that little feeling that liquid detergents were no good to me.

I have done some search on the web and apparently there are increasing cases of allergy to liquid laundry detergent because of two or three components (bold)

Liquid preparation based on Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone and Benzyl Alcohol
Broad, balanced spectrum of effect against bacteria, yeasts and moulds
Effective even in very low use-concentrations
Good head space protection
Effective in pH ranges up to 8
Not recommended for leave-on products as well as products that are intended for mucous membranes or oral care

The problems with the above products range from endocrine dysfunction to neurological symptoms and unspecific symptomd, which I have.
A lot of people on the web says the same about the same kind of symptoms.

My gp said these substances are indeed dangerous ( odd at least to hear it from a doc)  and I should switch asap to a powdered formula which does not contain these substances.
My shampoo also has them, and its a good brand and more natural tgan average.

I read a topic from PeakT talking about liquid soap and hormones, maybe these substances are a real problem. Seems that even the laundry machine when washing water phase does not remove all the detergent from clothes, bed sheets, and the skin might absorbe some, and the fragrances themself

From everything I have excluded, even things that maybe werent doing any harm to me, maybe, just maybe, this is the last piece of my puzzle in terms of toxic and harmful stuff. Because the tests accused reaction. I even excluded cookware that was not bad to cook food.
But I believe that even if a person is not allergic to liquid soaps or detergents/ shampoos they might be doing something bad to everyone. Check it up on the web.
I am going full-natural on this, just natural soap bought on organic stores. They are expensive as hell but I dont want loose ends on this.

Check your soaps and the above substances, they are doing harm to you too, almost for sure.

I am willing to go low fat next year, very low fat eater. I just dont know what to eat  ;D
Besides, i eat a bit of fat, but dont get fat. I think it is genetics. For instance, in terms of fat I eat 2 pounds of low salt butter per month with bread, fried eggs etc. i eat home made cookies and by luck or other I dont get fat. I get fat if I drink a lot and in intense social life. Lately I am more calm, so less alcohol. But eating meat 3 times per week and 2 pounds of butter per month wont get me fat. My last blood tests showed everything good, even those new analysis on oxidative stress and pufa, omegas profiles

Nice post. That was something I never understood, pseudo docs advocating to eat fats to get lean and they were all fat and ill. Specially Atkins, he died with a fulminant stroke. I think balance is the key. 25% good fats, 35% protein, 40% good carbs, a glass of red wine every day  8)

It would be interesting to know if the feeding quality of animals would have some importance in the quality of meat. And hormones, antibiotics, antidiuretics, and stuff.
I only eat organic meat, unless if I eat in a restaurant, I guess. So buying organic I hope at least that the fats are of better quality and the fed wont be soy or flour but green grass.
Also maybe the fat wont kill us just after we eat it, problem is after, due to lifestyles, smoking, diesel fumes, pollution etc, and all the fat we eat will get oxidized inside us

Well I wouldnt mind to send you guys the original but the prescription is needed.
However there are pharmacies in remote places that would sell without prescription because their revenue is very low, to the point of almost closing the shop.
But yea, mafia is everywhere. Insane $60 for 20mg. I would choose horny goat weed or damiana instead

Yup, that one too, Soy, soy oil, scares me a lot. Soy is everywhere too, and it is very indigestable if it is not processed over and over and over. And how? With solvents. Cant do good. I know guys who drink one litre of soy milk a day to avoid cows milk.
Even palm oil is refined using a solvent pretty much close to petroleum.

Next month I got to review my diet again, after Christmas and new year. What I am eating, country origin of raw foods, additives and all. Even red wine, i think producers are abusing by spreading pesticides on grapes to avoid downfalls in production. I sense them in my tongue.
One subject that concerned me about one month ago is the composition of laundry detergent. I am thinking in going "organic" on this one too.
