So how are you currently feeling? Any improvements?

Last time i checked they were fine, i'm going to run new thyroid labs and some cortisol stuff with igf-1,igf-3 in march.Miklu,Thanks for telling me your story, that gives me atleast somekind of relieve when i know that when i gröet older my weight propably goes up like happened to you, i just hope it's muscle and not just fat
I gotta tell you, I had the same problem gaining weight when I was your age. From the age of 17 to the age of 27, I weighed 150 lbs. Give or take 3 pounds or so. At 6'-0", I was damn thin. There was nothing I could eat that would put weight on me. Granted, I was pretty active, and didn't have energy issues, but still, I couldn't gain a damn thing. I HATED IT. Until I hit 27. I went through a VERY rigorous training program for about 6 months, while eating about 4000 calories daily, and supplementing with protein powder and creatine monohydrate. And something clicked. I went from 154 @ 18% BF to 186 @ 13% body fat in 6 months. I shit you not. My youngest boy (your age), is going through the same thing, trying to gain weight. I only say this to tell you that some of us are just built differently, what works for some, might not work for all. That being said, I'm not recommending creatine or protein powders, it just happened to work for me.
Good luck, I've lived in your shoes buddy...![]()
I actually Send message to defy if it would be possible to dr.saya or crisler look my labs and consult and they promised to ask as long as i have necessary labs, i also have thread in dr.crisler website so that provides some information and labs that i've taken. It's pretty messy but if someone cares to skim through it i would appreciate it: http://www.allthingsmale.com/community/threads/mikluzs-labs-my-journey.24090/
Yeah, my metabolism was very high when I was younger. I did put on some muscle on arms and chest, but it wasn't easy. I was 5'11 and 140 pounds! Had a 29 inch waist, etc.
Btw, you've obviously checked cortisol and thyroid, right?

Hmm, this really leaves me scratching my head. It sure sounds like you are taking-in enough calories to put-on weight (muscle or fat). Have you tried having a protein or weight gainer type shake before bed?i think there isn't anything i haven't tried... there really is something messed up in my body, my mother drank and smoked when she was waiting me so i'm not sure all my problems can't be fixed by todays medicine allthough i'm optimistic and try to find solution.
Hi, MikluWell currently my diet is far from perfect but usually i eat 4-5 solid meals a day
You say that you're taking-in 3000 calories at 5'10" and 140 lbs. Can you do a quick break-down for us of what a typical day of eating looks like? I know that we're all different and so you might just be someone with a really fast metabolism but at 5'10" and 195 lbs myself (about 10 lbs over being in great shape) I can't imagine not gaining at least some weight from that many calories.
One thing you might want to try would be to dial-back the MMA training (which tends to be really catabolic) and focus more on high weight/low rep weight training; at least in the short term. What is you current split between combat sport training and weight training?
i've got 4x salivary cortisol test about a year ago, it was little messed up cirdacian rhytm but not too bad, last few months i've been experiencing some anxiety when i'm places with a lot of people so low shbg causing anxiety like dr.crisler in his new book said might be true atleast for me. Next week i'm changing to testosterone enanthate and start injecting subq if it works so we'll see how that works, only problem is that carrier oil in testoviron which is only available here in europe along with sustanon and nebido contains carrier oil which has caused some people problemd with subq like sustanon did to me too. My mother drank and smoked so i propably have some problems tha't can't be fixed by todays medicine. Other symptoms and slight loss of interest to things (motivation, melancholia, my beard don't growth expect some white hair in my jaw and under the nose, weird headaches or feeling of throbbing/fullness in my head but this is propably because of deviated septum that went couple years ago in training but i'm getting that fixed. Also about 2 years ago i started to have very tight harmstrings and chriporactors have said that i should just strecth and that my back problems might cause it and other way around+ that i don't have muscles enough to support my spine etc. I also have some weird vision problems and balance problems but neurology doctor didn't find anything. I've also had spine tap and mri.Long story short, 22 yrs old male, been on trt for over a year (125mg sustanon weekly split to two im injections along with 250hcg. We tried with my doctor hcg monotherapy but it didn't work. All labs are fine despite last lab my shbg was lower than six months ago (17) so my free t is over the range.
Always been skinny fat gay despite eating a lot (3000 cals daily along with mma training/weights) never been able to gain weight much and most i've ever weight is propably about 140. I'm 5'10.
I've been on different doctors but no one hasn't been able to say why i cant' gain weight. Currently on trt not feeling physically that much better than before trt. Still experiencing weakness, fatigue and cognitional symptoms. I'll write more later and post labs but is there anything that could help me. Thyroid labs are fine, tsh,ft3,ft4,reverse 3 etc. Except i don't have growth hormone levels measured.
Check cortisol. Inability to gain weight is a classic low cortisol symptom, especially when you put it with your other symptoms. Anorexics, for example, very often have insufficient cortisol; cortisol (so long as you're not in a constant stressor, where appetite-killing CRH is activated) stimulates hunger. A 4x/day salivary cortisol test is a great place to start, such as through canaryclub.com.
If you do bloodtests for cortisol, you *must* be sure you're not a nervous person by getting stuck with a needle or (if blood draws are done in your doc's office) by being in your doc's office. Get cortisol, ACTH, and cortisol binding globulin (the advantage to salivary testing is it measures "free" or "unbound" cortisol, seeing how otherwise in blood testing you're measuring the bound amount of cortisol, which can be unreliable by itself, which is why CBG helps) if you're going with blood.
Any other symptoms you can think of? Are you sensitive to stress (i.e., easily stressed)? Does it take a while before your pulse lowers after being stressed? Do you ever get hypoglycemia symptoms? Is your blood pressure low, normal, or high?
how long have you been on that current protocol? were you on arimidex back then when you had high total and low free? What about Free Testosterone ?
Do any of you think HCG increases Free Test?
I'm asking this because since I started using HCG (500 IU) weekly with my testosterone,my Free testosterone went up.
I also added lots of Nitrates and POM to my diet but I don't think they have anything to do with my Free Test levels, so the only explantation is the HCG.
What da ya think ?
Yes, free testosterone goes up in proportion to the rise in total testosterone. Most guys have around 2.0% free testosterone. So let's say you raise your total testosterone 500 ng/dl on HRT. 2% of that (10 ng/dl or 100 pg/ml) will be free testosterone).
Hey Peak
I disagree with you in this one or I didn´t understand something. I have always had problems with this.
Before I included HCG in my list, I used to have high total and low free
My total test could be in the 700s and my free between 9 and 12 or even less, but never in the 20s ranges like now. It was always converted to estradiol or my SHGB went up.And the more testsoterone I inyected the more it aromatizes.
The same happened with clomid. Nice total test levels but high SHGB and Estradiol
So?

Milklu
Your message is not very clear to me,only the first part i understood . It make sense what you say, it is HCG maybe what it is making my free to go up. By the way,I'm only on 500 iu weekly only. (divided in two inyections)
Thanks
What da ya think ?
well hcg stimulates testes to make testosterone so why wouldn't it increase free t? unless your shbg also increases from hcg use like mine did when i was trying HCG mono before TRT. i was on 500iu hcg EoD and my nonsensitive E2 increased from 23->30 pg/ml 24 hours after injection and shbg increased from 30->60 so my free t didn't really increase at all.
