While the English language is arbitrary like any other, it must be consistent in order for communication to occur, words either have meanings or they don't.  Aside from that it's my understanding that the steroids are orders of magnitude more effective when they are inside you rather than you being "on" them.  Unless something has changed Peak you aren't a competitive lifter or bodybuilder, or any sort of professional athlete, has this member of the self appointed "joy police" fashioned himself a badge or is he just an amateur?
I only smoke one bag of meth/day, so when I get asked if I do meth, I am not  a true meth head,(who does many bags a day) so I say no.
This fits with Peak's def of denying being steroids, since he considers a total of 1200 to be not on steroids, you know just like the MLB and olympics agree with, oh, they don't? hmmm

Okay reading comprehension, testosterone is a naturally occurring compound in the human body.  Peak is attempting to restore his to a high normal range.  Are you attempting to assert that meth is a naturally occurring compound in your body?

There's all sorts of evidence that suggest that men who aren't living in a hyper-urban environment, who have traditional diets and high levels of physical activities don't have a significant reduction of testosterone even up to their later years.  This suggests that low testosterone is an un-natural phenomena.

Engage your reason before you engage your feelings.

I had someone just PM me and tell me I am on steroids.  I told them that I was on HRT not steroids and that steroid users jacked their testosterone over 2500 and I kept mine physiological (below 1200).

That didn't fly with the person and he asserted that everyone would say I was on steroids.

I know it's a matter of definition, but I'd curious what your definition is...

Un-fermented cacao beans are actually purple, it surprised me the first time I shelled a pod.

Hershey Natural Unsweetened is non-alkalized cocoa powder so it should retain a fair amount.

Update here:

I've brought my bodyweight closer to 200 pounds, adding back in some cardio soon to lean up slightly.  I competed and won my age/weight class for deadlift in a local powerlifting meet.

Cocoa powder consumption seems to continue to be a winner for me, for the past two months I've had at least a cup of blueberries or mixxed berrie every day.

Out of curiosity to I've had a cup of carrots or more before lunch and generally seen a payoff in erection quality later in the an afternoon or evening.

Blueberries are great for the brain and heart and also help with glycemic insulin control probably.

What kind of cocoa are you using?

Hershey's natural and occasionally I will purchase some cacao pods from the farmer's market and then shell, roast and grind them.

Just a local supermarket that carries locally grown grass-fed and antiobiotic/gh free beef.

Yeah we don't deliberately consume regular beef anymore, it doesn't taste or look right to be honest once you get used to grass fed.

I'm not a fanatic about though if I am at someone's house I'm not going to quiz them on where they bought the meat, and we still eat out but whenever we eat out we both (wife and I) tend to eat much more moderately.  Our most frequent place to eat out is actually a vegan Indian place that sources all organic produce grown locally (some of the spices obviously not).  It's usually the most carbs I get at a single setting in the week but the weight training and walking keeps it managed.

Well my legs are definitely more vascular, butt is bigger, chest is bigger, waist is slightly smaller, shoulders are wider and looks like I'm hovering around 177.  So unless you are overly gorging yourself on food I'd say yes :)

I think if you aren't very advanced with the core lifts squat, deadlift, bench, and press it's definitely worth a run.

If you are already benching 250+, squatting +300, and deadlifting 350+ there may be better protocols.

Its 5 sets of 5 reps, except for deadlift alternating these two workouts:

Squat, Deadlift, Press
Squat, Row, Benchpress

Weight for squat, bench, and row get raised 5 pounds each workout.

Workouts are progressing nicely and retest for test is coming up shortly.

I picked up with 5 x 5 stronglifts which reset the weight, but now is getting heavy again.
Last work out was:
Squats 5 x 5  x 170
Deadlift 5 x 1 x 305
Bench 5 x 5 x 140

I add pullups and dips at the end of each workout to failure.

Bench is still very much on the light side, my legs are definitely feeling out from the squatting, I think in so no small part because I perform all my squats fairly deeply.
Hopefully the weight training will prod the test up some!

I do dips at the end of my workout, I feel like the pull everything together. I go as deep as I can without feeling like im torquing my shoulders then I push all the way up and sort of do a lat shrug at the top.

When I can do 5 sets of 5 at the end of the work out with 1 minute rest between sets, the plan is to add weight with a dipping belt.

I squat 3-4 times per week (3 times a week if I stick to the strong lifts).
I have a pretty narrow list of exercise:
Squat
Deadlift
Benchpress
Millitary Press
Dips
Pullups
Cable rows/lat pull downs

For fun I will sometimes leg press or hammer strength bench press after I've done the barbell work:
I was pyramiding up to heavy (for me) doubles and singles.

Going to try to add in barbell rows, despite my misgivings.

For me I've never noticed much visible gain from isolation exercise, but if I add substantial weight to the big compound exercises I almost always look better.

What sort of set/rep and loading schemes are you using  Jack?

I'm switching to a Stronglifts 5x5 programming for a bit.  The initial weights are a bit of a deload for me, so it's going to be form work for the most part for the next 3 weeks.
I have drastically shortened my rest periods until the weights start to feel heavy again.

Vascularity has increased substantially, and I am definitely leaning out. Weight is staying steady at between 170-172 pounds, I don't intend to increase calories unless strength stalls dramatically.
