Hey guys when I had my labs done a couple months ago the Dr prescribed an AI because of slightly elevated E2. A lot of people thought maybe I didn't need an AI for only slightly being out of range. Plus I didn't have any symptoms. I don't know if the AI is responsible for my increase in testosterone, but it is up significantly. See numbers below.

If you are injecting, an AI will have minimal effect on total testosterone.
It is more likely lab variability or based on how long after your injection undid the blood draw.
Have you been exercising more recently by any chance?
Wonder why the bump in T then?
I would be surprised if most people did not experience about a 20% variation in their T levels on the same days every week just do to differences in IM absorption and metabolization rates. For example, one might be on 100 mg a week and one week 4 days after injection their total T will be 800 ng/dl. A week later on the same day they might be at 685 ng/dl, and then the week after that 770 ng/dl.
If I did the calculation right, a reduction of 5.5 pg/mL in estradiol would raise testosterone by less than 1 ng/dL.
