Update......

Found a good urologist who is has helped with the Acne quite a bit!!
I've suffered with low T and suffered for years.  Most of the common side effects
I've had to deal with at one time or another and they seemed to be worse for me
Than many others here.

He believes that the "spike" in testosterone after injection was the problem.
I had the pellets planted 10 days ago (after trying gels and IM injections) he believes
Pellets keep a very even T level.

I have to say FINALLY.... Things are falling into place and I feel a lot better!
Morning (and afternoon!!) erections!!  This was not the case with other treatments,
At least not for any length of time. (I'm praying it lasts!)

Don't have any labs yet so I don't know how it's affecting My
E2 or blood cells (both big problems in the past)  but at least I have NO signs of Acne yet
And the little soldier is ready for battle!! :-)

Great news.  I remember all your sufferings.  Didn't you believe that you were going to have to go off of HRT at one point?

Pellets deliver nice steady day to day levels, which probably helps some guys.  However, there is a tapering off slowly and so the problem some guys have is that their docs let their testosterone fall too far.

Also, undecanoate (Nebido) delivers a similar profile to pellets and is much less invasive.  The problem is that the urologist gets a nice reimbursement for the pellets, so they tend to push it.

Yes, the polycythemia was so bad I was getting my blood withdrawn 3x a week for 6 weeks to get in the normal range!  Then the acne just went haywire.. I could control it with antibiotics, but that schedule was 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off... (( not what I want to do for the rest of my life)

What is nebido?

If all keeps going well we will likely increase pellets next round.
He is testing me at 2 weeks (peak levels for pellets) then at 6 weeks looking for a dropoff.
He seems to be up on things

It's a large volume injection of a different testosterone ester.  It was approved about a year ago or so I believe here in the U.S.

That's super dependent on when they measure it.  Check out this guy:

"Nebido 4ml peaked me to  1500 ng/dl and e2 followed shortly. No the peak is lower, but feels as good. Because lower E I think."

http://www.peaktestosterone.com/forum/index.php?topic=6573.msg55173#msg55173
"Testosterone(5 weeks after injection with nebido) 15 nmol/L = 433 ng/dl"

I've always thought it was likely strongly related to diet.
I have never noticed much of a difference in amount of acne but i do feel my skin get more oily with chips and chocolate.
