I just found this website yesterday!  i am going down to Walgreens to get my physical and will reach out to Defy Medical tomorrow.  Is the pricing competitive with a what i could get for the same services with a local doctor here in the Nashville area?  I am fine with the doctor being remote to me, but I just want to make sure that the price is in line with local doctors and other similar services I could find online. Thanks for your great website!  I plan to spend alot of time here going forward.

The cost of a regular doctor is generally going to be much less because you will just pay a copay.  Of course, the quality of care and protocols and knowledge will be greatly superior with Defy Medical. I believe Defy can provide forms for submittal to insurance though, but pleae discuss with their office.

If you are on medications or have a medical condition, always check with your doctor first before making any lifestyle changes or taking new supplements.  And low testosterone is a medical condition.

If you're not using insurance then Defy Medical is definitely priced competitively.

Can they handle their consultation online? Or do I have to go to the physical location?

Yes, consultation can be online. They will ask you to get a local physical exam, which your GP or various drugstores can do.

“Online” can have many meanings. The more accurate term would be telemedicine with a physical exam submitted by a local practitioner as Cataceous noted.

I am considering consulting with an expert to 'dial-in' and reach the optimal protocol. I've been impatient hence results have been a little mixed.

What is the cost, process, and approach when working with patients from the UK? I wouldn't need an hour consultation up front as I am looking for advice on lab results and protocols with the aim of reaching an optimal, balanced state. I see this as a series of short consultations.

Can Defy help with this in a cost-effective way?

Thanks

For places where they don't practice medicine they offer "Advice Only" consultations. According to the 2018 Fee Schedule these run $395 for the initial one, and $250 for follow-ups.

As an FYI to assist patients during these unprecedented times (COVID-19), we have temporarily loosened some requirements for patients needing to transfer their HRT/TRT care from traditional physical locations to our remote telemedicine model. I will not elaborate here, but anyone seeking more information please feel free to contact our office 813-445-7342.
