As part of my new-ish TRT protocol I will be trying to donate blood regularly. Don't know how often yet, just started. I'm curious what other guys are doing.

If planning to donate twice or more per year, keep an eye on ferritin levels.

I am only 4 mo. into TRT and have donated 1 time.  I will be trying to keep my ferritin levels below 100 and ideally closer to 50-70.  It is not clear to me yet how many times I will have to donate to get to that level.
Age: 55, Ht: 5'08", Wt: 155 lbs
Protocol: 25 mg T Cyp + 25 IU HCG M,W,F + 2 clicks T Cream + 15mg DHEA + 15mg Pregnenalone daily.
12/2018 test results: TT: 1054 ng/dL (264-916), FT: 17.2 pg/mL (7.2-24), E2: 21.6 pg/mL sensitive (8.0-35.0)

I think there might be a huge difference between 50 and 70, in that 50 might be deficiency.

I donated about a month ago. Hemoglobin was at 18 and hematocrit was around 54 or 55.

Last year I experimented with LDN for my RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis) in place of enbrel and methotrexate. I gave it 13 months, but failed as an alternative RA drug option. During that period I gave blood 3 times when my Hct went over 52. In the early spring, I went back on Enbrel and Methotrexate, now I should not have to worry any more. TRT raises H&H, and the 2 drugs I am using for my RA are lowering my H&H. Last week my Hgb was 14.8 g/dl  and Hct was 45.2 %. In a way TRT is a good adjunct to my RA therapy, in the past my H&H was quite low, currently they are, close to optimal.

Even with TRT and an iron supplement, my the highest my HCT levels have gotten is 47 or so.   I was mildly anemic prior to starting thyroid meds and trt.
