Somebody beat you to it:  it's called a Rigiscan device:

http://www.indiana.edu/~rcapub/v20n2/25c.html

If you can figure out a way to make something cheap and safe for home use, then, yes, you'll be ready for the shark tank.

But here is an important point:  if you're really getting morning erections, you should notice them from time to time.  It's very easy to sleep through them, but, again, it should not be a never thing.

If you are on medications or have a medical condition, always check with your doctor first before making any lifestyle changes or taking new supplements.  And low testosterone is a medical condition.

Is this serious or a joke? That drawing...

Nocturnal penile tumescence only occurs when you are very nearly out of REM sleep. It doesn't happen during deep sleep when it would be more difficult to wake you up. That's why it's also called morning wood. If you aren't noticing it, it's not happening.

Okay, well that means "the plumbing" is working overall.  However, there is something called "hardness factor".  You want this to be as high as possible and, in general though not always, it is an indicator of endothelial health.

The Rigiscan can measure hardness factor:

http://www.dir-4u.com/studies/default?study=anew&idioma=es (espanol)

http://www.dir-4u.com/studies/default?study=chara (english)

It also can be used to monitor noctural erections:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23206346
"Nocturnal penile erections: the role of RigiScan in the diagnosis of vascular erectile dysfunction"

Your urologist should be able to help you with this.  But, again, your goal is to get that hardness factor as high as possible for the sake of both your sex life and general health.  Concentrate on cleaning out those arteries, boosting nitric oxide and checking your testosterone/estradiol levels along with a physical/well-being check from your doctor.

Again, if you're at 80%, nothing to panic about.  Consider yourself "out of shape".  Time to get your cardiovascular and endocrine systems back in shape.

Perhaps I missed it in the thread somewhere, but the old school method was to wrap a single wrap of stamps around the soft shaft at bed time. If the perforations between stamps are ruptured when you wake up you  might have an answer.  I heard this a very long time ago when stamps used to actually come in a roll.  You should be able to devise something along these lines though as a crude easy test.

Of course I can't guarantee how comfortable something like this would be to sleep with!  :o :o :o

And if you are a very restless sleeper it might rupture just from tossing and turning I suppose.

Anyway just a crazy idea that you might be able to use.

Good luck!

Weak erections may have variety of causes. Main causes were

1) Health problems like High blood pressure and Diabetes
2) Unbalanced diet. Overeating of oil foods block the blood flow from heart to penis.
3) Life style factors such as lack of exercise, smog, drugs and stress.

All the above mentioned factors responsible for block of blood flow from heart to penis. Whenever blood flow decreases, then there is less possibility for strong erections. So you must be free from health problems, smog, drugs, stress and also you must have balanced diet in order to have strong erections.
Sex is a part of nature. I go along with nature.
