I quit smoking in January 2012 with an electronic cigarette. Some of the health benefits were almost immediate. I'm still using the electronic cigarette but I've been gradually reducing my nicotine intake, and the goal is to be completely done with it this year.
An electronic cigarette doesn't actually produce smoke it makes a water soluble vapor produced from propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, flavorings, and nicotine.
I think over the past year I've spent less than $800 on supplies ( I make my own fluid) if I were still smoking I would have spent over $4,000 in the same time period (cigarettes are expensive here).
Well, it's a step in the right direction, so congrats. I've seen the struggles of friends and family in quitting.
But how about drinking some black coffee, black tea, hibiscus tea, beet root juice, raw cocoa tea or some other positive substitute that will either boost your nitric oxide or cap your blood sugar rises? The latter four will dilate your arteries instead of constricting them and the first may prevent you from getting diabetes or prediabetes.
Sure, you'll have a headache for a few days and shakes for a night, but your penis will thank you. Do it for the Little Guy - nobody else is watching out for him - you gotta do it, right? No, seriously, the only way I can get rid of a bad habit is to substitute a good one, so find something that you can put in its place is my suggestion.
