I can give you what I just went through regarding E2. Before injections my E2 was 16.2. After 1 month of injections I was retested. My total T shot up from 310 to 460, but my E2 shot up even higher percentage wise to 34.0. I'm fairly lean and in pretty good shape (13% body fat) and I was pretty surprised at this E2 value. I had thought it wouldn't shoot up that much since my body fat was pretty decent. Oops. Wrong assumption. As Peak has said in many of his posts, "some guys are just high converters"
Anyway, because of the new quickly rising E2, my doc put me on a pretty small dosage of Arimidex to block the T to E2 conversion process. I will be retested in about 3 more weeks and we will see how it is working.
Here's the interesting thing though: Even though my E2 did shoot up to 34 (still within normal range by the way) I still have been experiencing a pretty profound improvement in the areas expected to improve as a result of TRT. I have had none of the symptoms or signs of E2 being too high and it doesn't seem to be diminishing my gains from the T therapy at all. Energy, mood, libido, and performance in the gym are all way up!
Just as some guys are "high converters" I suspect that some guys might have different levels of sensitivity to E2 levels as well. I'm sure Peak can correct me if I'm mistaken on this.
Anyway, don't get too worried about the E2 levels just yet. Wait until the follow up blood work and then adjust things from there as recommended by your doctor.
Good Luck.
