As I've shared with PeakT in private messages, this site has been like a dream for me. Somehow I just knew there was another way; a healthier way. Further, changing my diet and including a little bit of natural supplementation brought some encouraging results in less than one week. At age 45, I'm now in my third week, and positive progress continues.
The following has been my experience: Sometime in my mid 30s I began to notice some difficulty achieving or maintaining a firm erection. But it wasn't consistently difficult. At age 37 I had a terrible experience with the woman of my dreams (at the time,) in which I could not perform. I went to the doctor and received a prescription for Cialis. It was magical!
I've never been one who looked to pharmaceuticals unless absolutely necessary, and preferably using them only when needed for a limited time. But the power of that little, yellow pill was seductive, pardon the pun. I began noticing, in the last couple of years, that even with Cialis I couldn't always maintain an erection. In the beginning I noticed that fast, vigorous sex with my 20-something wife, would sometimes have a desensitizing effect on my penis.
Okay, I thought, I'll just have to be a little more cautious with the wild slamming. (Bummer.) But in the last year or so, even when I wasn't being particularly vigorous, I would still seem to lose sensation--yes, even when using Cialis. There was no problem achieving an erection, but it just seemed to die during sex. In the last several months I even noticed a generally low penile sensitivity while masturbating.
The good news is that last year a 7-year client who required I travel around 44 weeks per year ceased all travel. I admit I loved the travel, but after so many years it really got old. And no longer having to eat airport and hotel food was going to be great for my waistline and general health. I'm a rather heavily muscled man, who at 6'3" weighed in at 265 lbs last April. Yes I was way too heavy, but bear in mind 225 lbs is a very good, reasonably lean size for me. Anyway, as of a month ago I'd leaned down to around 245, and after adopting a modified form of the Orgasmatarian diet, I'm now down to 238. I feel great, I look better than I have in years, and penile sensitivity is really, really good lately. I can only imagine how I'll feel after a few months eating and living this way!
Here is what I notice after 3 weeks: I do not seem to get spontaneous erections--even from watching pornography. But it doesn't take much stimulation to get me hard, and once I'm there, I've been staying hard! The erection is not always one of steel, but it's pretty impressive--and sometimes it IS very hard. Again my penis is much more sensitive (in a good way) than it was as well. Today, when kissing my wife, I definitely got a nice chubster with no stimulation. Yay! So what I will be looking for is a return to the time when I can achieve a nice, firm erection without any manual stimulation.
Furthermore, I am aware that, in addition to changing my diet, at least some of this positive progress is the result of supplementing it. I've been taking 1-50mg Pycogenol tablet twice per day, 600mg Korean Red Ginseng, 2g L-Arginine, 1.5mg Citrulline, and I've been drinking a tea made from 1 or 2 bags of Triple Leaf Tea's "Horny Goat Weed Tea." When I added HGW, it made a remarkable difference. Just today, I started including Navitas Maca in my diet too.
Does it feel good that I'm using natural things to help reverse the (perhaps) sorry state of my endothelium? Yes, it does. But what will feel even better is getting to a point when I don't really need all of those supplements--or when I only use them occasionally.
