Hello everyone, I'm new here so this is my first post... I started having very mild ED issues 3 years ago (but i still had great libido at the time). At that time I would be having sex and after about 5-10 minutes ED would happen. I started taking a multivitamin & as long as I took the multivitamin ED was never an issue. When ED would happen after apologizing to my girlfriend I would realize I had forgotten to take my multivitamin for the past few days. A few days after taking them every morning & i was back to normal-no ED.
Fast forward two years later (so about march of 2016). I'm still taking the same multivitamin ( [edited by mod] - Vit A, C, D, E, niacin, B6, Folic acid, B12, Biotin, chromium, molybdenum, Na, pantothenic acid) and not having ED if i took it. Then over the course of lets say 5 days or less my libido went from needing a sexual release 3 times a day to NONE. When i say none, i mean zip, zero, nada. Dream girl, sexual fantasy nothing in the world could turn me on. My penis didn't feel "numb" but it felt different.. Again it wasn't a numb feeling, but it was like it had no feeling & was typically shriveled up (so no blood in it).. I would have to try really hard to get an erection & if i stopped touching myself it would go away within 30 seconds.
I went to see the Urologist and an endocrinologist. They ran TSH, free & total T3, Free and total t4, testosterone, and prolactin. Everything was normal both times. And offered no suggestions or place to turn to next.
I'm a fit guy (5'10'' 155 lbs) but wasn't the best eater (basically just meat & bread) & not that active. About a month ago I started running along with eating fruit at lunch or dinner every day. I also started taking 2 grams of L-Arginine and 2 grams of Critulline. This seemed to help some (in the ED department not really my libido). I started getting morning erections again (but i wasn't "horny" when i got them in the morning like i used to be, I just got them). This has certainly helped me when I force myself to get an erection, but it won't last one minute inside of my girlfriend. I feel like if i was horny ED wouldn't be a problem, I just don't have any libido. I'm not sure if that's my problem or if no libido is a result of ED.
I've been trough the website & read other articles I've considered trying Rhodiola Rosea, CoQ10, Ginseng, Maca, Tribulus and DHEA. And then suppllements like [edited by moderator] which are basically a mixture of the above supplements (with other ingredients). I just don't really know which one to try...
So my question for you guys is there something else I should check in the lab? What supplements should I try? When i try a supplement how long should you take them before you decide it didn't help?
