Such shocking and sad news. He helped so many thousands of men, through his website, forum and personal messages. For many men experiencing the darkest days of their lives, he was that understanding and supportive voice, helping them to turn things around. I know that Nelson and everyone here understands this, but I hope his family does as well. Through his work, he has changed lives of so many.
I did not know him outside of his online work, but he was clearly a very humble and decent man. It is not uncommon to hear people say that this forum is one of the few places on the internet where health topics are discussed in a civil and thoughtful manner. That was due to his example. He inspired us to treat each other better and to live healthier lives.
