I am not sure if anyone has posted this horrible and sad news for all of us, but our friend Lee Myer (Curt Moyer) died in a car accident after picking up his boy at school on Tuesday.  His boy is recovering from several fractures.

Curt and I were good friends and collaborated with each other weekly.  He was a kind and generous man.   He leaves behind his wonderful wife, kids and all of us who loved and respected him for what he was and for his generosity helping thousands live a better life.

We are all in shock and will inform you soon of any pertinent information.  I would like to collect thoughts for all of you to present to his family when we honor his life in a memorial service (yet to be announced)

This is a sad and shocking day for all of us.  His legacy will live on as we all have been touched by his kindness and true altruism.

This is shocking to everyone here and devastating for his family.  He was so knowledgeable and thorough with a willingness to share.  My deepest sympathies to his family and friends.  A very sad day.  This place will never be the same unfortunately.

This hit like a ton of bricks; it makes stomach knot up, sad and scary.... I only knew him from this site but I am sure he was a good person. I am certain many people will mourn him; I offer my condolences to his close friends and family. The loss of a loved one is never easy; you will be in my thoughts.

Such shocking and sad news.  He helped so many thousands of men, through his website, forum and personal messages.  For many men experiencing the darkest days of their lives, he was that understanding and supportive voice, helping them to turn things around.  I know that Nelson and everyone here understands this, but I hope his family does as well.  Through his work, he has changed lives of so many.

I did not know him outside of his online work, but he was clearly a very humble and decent man.  It is not uncommon to hear people say that this forum is one of the few places on the internet where health topics are discussed in a civil and thoughtful manner.  That was due to his example.  He inspired us to treat each other better and to live healthier lives.

My heart sank upon hearing this news today. Truly devastating tragedy and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family for strength and peace. Prayers for a full and quick recovery for his son.

Peak was my patient and, more importantly, a friend. He touched countless lives and will continue to do so through his legacy and teachings. Earth lost a truly altruistic and exceptional man, while Heaven gained an angel. Rest In Peace my friend.
