I'm new here and have about a million questions but I'll start with the one that I couldn't find an answer to in my searches. It's a long post but I'd greatly appreciate any insight.
30 yr old male with initial tests showing
Testosterone Total LC/MS: 250 ng/dl (Range 264-916 ng/dl)
Free Testosterone: 2.9 pg/ml (8.7-25.1 pg/ml)
I don't see an SHBG test in my results so I'm guessing my doctor didn't order it. Note that this was my primary care physician that I had to talk in to even doing the test.
Anyway, I'm on 100 mg/week of testosterone cypionate IM and I'm about 3 months into treatment. I've noticed some improvements in the symptoms that initially led me to the doctor but this was crazy:
I've noticed that things have been feeling different when I masturbate. I have "some" experience in this area and my technique hasn't changed in the last 15 years so my muscle memory is pretty on-point. I noticed that what is my normal "full-pump" up and down, hasn't felt the same. It took me a couple of times to realize that I was having to move my hand more in order to go all the way up and down. So, naturally, I got out the ol' ruler and measured and my results really surprised me. The last time I measured was when I was 27 and that result was typical. This time my result was almost .5" bigger. Same measuring method that I've always used.
Now, everything I've ever read has been "what you get is what you're always going to have" so I'm thinking I'm crazy. However, when I was 15 I was competing in martial arts tournaments and I suffered a groin injury and testicular torsion. I had surgery and the torsion was repaired. Cut to 15 years later and my doctor tells me that I've probably had low-T since that injury.
My question is, if my torsion caused my low-t and my penis was not yet fully grown, can the TRT that I'm currently undergoing have caused my penis to grow?
Thanks in advance.
PS: My penis size is not the reason I investigated TRT. I've been happily married for almost 10 years and my wife and I have been very satisfied with what I've been working with. I'm simply curious as to why/how this has happened cause you know, science.
