Raising IGF-1 Problem
« on: August 09, 2018, 12:02:09 pm »
I have been taking  L-Ornithine/L-Arginine at night to raise my IGF-1, well I succeeded but the problem is my PSA also raised a half point.

Before taking my IGF-1 was 131 now 220
Before taking my PSA was 2.1 now 2.7

Could it just be lab error?
We are about the same age I have been trying to raise my IGF-1 with 1000mcg Sermorelin + 500mcg Ipamorelin nitely.
My IGF-1 went from 99 to 140 in 3 months my PSA stayed the same at 0.9

I also take 1.5g  l-arginine in my no stack to improve vascularity. I did not know it helped IGF-1

68% is an impressive increase from just supplementing with a couple amino acids.

The fact that PSA is in Defy Medical's Growth Hormone Secretagogue Lab Panel implies that it's something that can be affected. In my case raising IGF-1 from 140 ng/mL to 170 did not change PSA from 0.8 ng/mL.

What are your dosages, Just?

I need to raise my levels since I'm on a very low carb diet 6 days a week and that lowers the IGF severly.

Thanks

I use Orn/Arg daily, at least once per day in large doses and I've never seen my PSA flux more than .5-.7. I've not been running IGF-1 so I can't comment there but when I have run it in the past I know I was up over 50% in the lab range IIRC and I was using Arg/Orn (and Citrulline) at those times.
