low T low lh and fsh guy here. uro prescribed clomid 12.5 daily for 6 weeks total and retest. he wants to check Tests, lh, fsh and estradiol (right now mine is at 5). he did not included shbg but i will ask another doc for it. what are the results suppost to be? if my testosterone increases it means i succeed?

two things worth mentioning, i have seen shbg at 56.

both my T are low.

if everything goes well will he probably prescribed this for life? he also mentioned AI if estrogen becomes a problem.

lastly, is there any risk taking clomid with lexapro?

Clomid is an excellent place to start. My advice, for what it's worth: pursue restoring your natural production BEFORE switching to testosterone. Personally, I don't think Clomid is a good choice for treatment over the long term. Yes, there are always exceptions, but most guys can't tolerate the sides, or it just stops working. If the sides are too bad, there are other drugs, but, generally, they're not a great treatment option.

Best wishes. Hopefully, you'll bounce back. If not, trt isn't that bad. It beats being hypogonadal.

thanks a lot!
