Multi-Vitamins, whats good and cheap
« on: December 24, 2019, 12:26:55 am »
Been thinking I might delve into multi vitamins tablets remembering Peaks often stated advice that a good multi vitamin never goes astray.

Looking into whats available there seems to be huge variety of brands and formulations so I want to stand on the shoulders of others and seek the collective wisdom of the forum to sort the wheat from the chaff so to speak.

Currently I take D3 5000 iu and B complex 50 mg plus magnesium daily but nothing much in the minerals and trace elements other than the occasional zinc.

So what works for you and is affordable?

I take Bayer One a Day for men. Works good for me. There are a lot of other brands out there that have higher dosages, but your body can only absorb so much. Iíve taken GNC brands, vitamin shoppe brands and etc and notice my urine will be neon yellow due to peeing out unused vitamins no being absorbed.

I don't do this but i would think the best way of taking multi vit/min suppliments would be to buy two or three different ones and alternate them day to day. I've been a vit junkie since my teenage years, i do wonder sometimes what i could have done with the money saved if i hadn't spent so much on supps

Hence my stipulation on affordable, there really are some over priced brands out there.

Vitabiotics Wellman Original has been a life saver for me. I was always suspect of having Low T throughout my life. I started my first dose of this supplement and two days later woke up with strong morning wood, voice was noticeably deeper, social anxiety decreased and general well-being was greater.

If you're from the UK, Boots have a good offer for these.
