Guys, my SHBG was in the 30s..so wasnt too high..maybe a wrong reading? Seeing 2 weeks before it was 317 and I dont feel different

Your doctor's idea about estradiol is a good one imo.  I would definitely pursue that one.

Peak, I may have mentioned by estraidol was at 6...lower then 29 being normal range..he said its an unrelaible test and thinks it might be high..if the reading is right, could my estrogen be low? Causing the depression , apathy poor brain function? So far 4 days of clomid no change in how i feel

Low and high estradiol can cause problems.  But I have a q:  your T is in the 600's right?  But I didn't see whether or not you are on arimidex/anastrazole?  Did my eagle eye miss that?  I'm asking for a reason...

My T was in 300s when i started feeeling this way..test in mid april nd mid may..then two weeks after my test in may, i got a test result of T at 640 but free T only 86(48-225 scale) I am on my 4th day of clomid and feel the same..no arimedex or anything currently, back in april iwas taking a product called arime stage 5 pct, and started feeling this way 5 days into it, and stopped after 10 days. Im confused on how T went up to 640 and i feel the same as i did at 315

Well, there are some permanent AIs out there.  It's pretty crazy today.  Did you do a search and make sure none of the ingredients are permanent.

Your doctor is right:  it's unlikely your E2 is at 5.  But it's certainly possible.  Can you afford to retest?  It's pretty important stuff...

Peak, on the scale he used, under 29 was normal..so 6 would be normal..which is what he said..but he also said its unreliable it could be higher...i am retesting in 2 weeks to see if clomid worked to raise LH which was at 2...he thinks my LH should be higher its been at 1-2 the whole process..he looked up ingredients of product i took and said he didnt see anything that could actually lower estrogen, although thats what the product claims..he said true AIs arent sold at stores.

BUT if e2 is real low is it possible itd never come back and ill never be the same again? Day 5 of clomid no change in symptoms..he said it also could be something acting as estrogen in the pitiitary putting the breaks on the system..what is a normal LH level? He said it should be higher than 2.

Thanks for your help

androst 3,

If it's this stuff, then it looks like it's a permanent AI:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1,4,6-Androstatriene-3,17-dione

Can you let us know if you find any more information out about this?  Also, if you test low for E2 again, I'd really like to know that.  I'll then do all I can to warn men about these permanent AI's.  Quite a few guys on forum have tried them and a couple have wanted to try 6-OXO.

When you say permanent AI do you mean if low estrogen is a problem Ill never be able to bring it back up? Also , the scale my blood work has for normal range is anything under 26...but ive seen scales that are like 23-45 or something. Why is that?

Also im not sure if that link you provided is the same ingredient...it has a part of it though..from what im gathering, it seems to be a metabolite of 7keto dhea...not exactly sure what that means but I think its different than the link you provided

That's just what these new AIs are called.  It's a pretty new issue, so I'm not sure how much everyone understands about them.  But there are a number of them out there and, again, I don't feel the supplement manufacturers are explaining themselves properly to say the least.

Now JackAndy made a comment on another thread about how he had heard that were just longer term and not permanent.  Hopefully, he'll chime in with some insight here.

I'll try to research it but it's pretty crazy this morning...

Ok thank you! Also when you get a chance, if Low E is the problem (but we are attacking low T/high E) with clomid..will it make my problem even worse since clomid decreases estrogen?

Clomid can decrease estrogen in some tissues, but in most guys low T guys Clomid will substantially raise testosterone, some of which aromatizes into extra estradiol.  There are guys on Clomid who have to take Arimidex because of this.  So I have never heard of anyone's plasma estradiol levels falling from taking Clomid.
