restarting spontaneous erections
« on: July 23, 2013, 10:08:33 pm »
Dear Lee,

I would like to you ask you questions please regarding spontaneous erections.  I am 54 years old and a few weeks ago I started having spontaneous erections after years of not having them.  I would drive over a bumpy road or move or sit during the day and they would occur every so often.  I then took omega 3 capsules, 1-gram each for three days, 5 the first day, 4 the second day and 5 the third day because I read on the internet that omega 3 would help the testicle sack to hang lower and I thought it might improve appearance.  After taking the omega 3 the spontaneous erections have stopped.

Do you know how I can get the spontaneous erections back?

What causes spontaneous erections?

I have testosterone level of 467 and estradiol level of 41.  I rarely ejaculate.

I purchased your book and find it very informative.

Thank you very much.

Randy

It depends on the capsules, but that's quite a bit of omega-3's.  One thing that some people don't realize is that fish oil has a fair amount of saturated fat whcih could slow down blood flow potentially.

So question for you:  do you normally eat much fat?  saturated fat?

If you're eating a lot of saturated fat, then I doubt that's it.

However, it's not supposed to do that.  For example, check out this study:

"Impaired nitric oxide production, brachial artery reactivity and fish oil in offspring of ischaemic heart disease patients"

Dear Lee,

Thank you for the interesting article.  I won't eat fish oil again.  I do not have a lot of saturated fat in my diet.  I do not eat red meat and do not eat chicken every day.  I eat fish, pasta, almond butter and lately sesame seed butter sandwiches with fruit spreads, and also vegetables and fruits.  Thank you very much.

Well, I'm still having fish oil myself but cut back by 1/2 while they hopefully do more study work.  The reason is that we don't really get many omega-3's in our diet and they are very important.  But that's my hybrid solution for now.  Fish oil helps with so many things that it's kind of hard to imagine that it's a problem child, but I guess you never know.

Hey one other comment on the spontaneous erections.  Like morning erections and waking erections, spontaneous erections are helped by the same things.  I am building a page on that which should be up and running in about an half hour or so:
