Steroids and hearing loss?
« on: September 30, 2013, 01:17:24 pm »
In the past few days I've had a stuffed left ear and while I thought it was noting this article made me reconsider.  If steroids can help fix it maybe low levels of corticosteroids can be a contributing factor in the cause.   Who knows,  but I thought I would share because the author gives some good basic advice also.

Did you try the humming test?

Comment for anyone reading this:  sudden loss of hearing or tinnitus is a common side effect of PDE5 inhibitors such as Viagra and Cialis and those should be halted immediately and your doctor called if it occurs.

I did,  I could hear it but I couldn't tell from where.  It was hard to discern.  Going to the doc today.
