Since the beginning of last summer I've changed my diet and am currently eating a somewhat Mediterranean style diet. Good fats in moderation eschewing bad fats, very little processed food, higher in veggies than I've ever eaten before. Wheat nearly eliminated.
Currently my daytime supplements are 500mg Vit C, Vit B complex, Vit D, Zinc and recently I've added a garlic supplement as well as a glass of pomegranate juice.
At night I take another 500mg Vit C, magnesium, a small dose of melatonin and 5 mg of Cialis.
I've been waking up with rock solid nocturnal erections and pretty regular morning wood this last week. The garlic and/or pomegranate being recent additions seem to be the catalyst.
As an aside, my regular state during the day has always been more along the lines of being a grower rather than a shower. Typically all my life I've always shrunk down to a button. All of a sudden now I'm a bit more inflated all day. Not in full shower inflation but a healthy hang so to speak. I've noticed this also happened to a lesser extent when taking the higher weekend dose of Cialis previously. I'm glad the lower dosage of Cialis is now working better with the supplementation.
All of this points to better blood flow where it counts. I'm hoping all this night time exercise my member is getting will pay off when I get a new lady friend and become intimate. Unfortunately my libido is still relatively low.
The reason I post this is because in the past I've been concerned with potential atrophy also. The ED, lack of nocturnal/morning erections cannot be good for the tissues! There were times when going to take a leak I also noticed the odd hourglass look of my member and it would actually feel cooler than my body temp.
Interesting reading this site how my symptoms while maybe not common aren't at all uncommon.
