160?!? Ouch!!
Hey, seriously, imo you should get your bone mass tested since you said it had been years. Have you had your estradiol pulled? Get the sensitive test and, if you are low, check for osteopenia.
Also, you should be checked immediately for anemia. Hopefully, you've had that checked recently at a physical or something.
You probably have both low testosterone and low estradiol. Both can increase risk for many conditions and create cognitive/brain issues. PM me if you want an (electronic) copy of my book for free on the subject. Please, I urge you to take charge and get yourself back into shape.
Again, low T very commonly causes mental fog, anxiety, fatigue, poor sleep, depression. Testosterone, in me, affected my brain before it hit me below the belt. I struggled with mild to occasionally moderate depression until I went on cypionate and got my T levels up.
No one can promise you that testosterone will magically help you or be a silver bullet for you. But you really need to work with a good doc on this and get it taken care of. Unless you have been super careful with how you eat, low testosterone elevates insulin and can lead to diabetes, prediabetes and hardening of the arteries just for starters. You've got to get start learning about all of this. I know it's probably tough to even think straight - been there! - but start reading as much as you can about testosterone/estradiol, etc. in men.
You should give up beer if you are drinking more than one drink per day and can't control yourself:

Also, please start another thread on questions about different types of testosterone and therapies. We can give you a lot of the pros and cons here. Btw, I also don't trust Clomid, but we have a lot of guys on the forum using it. And topicals are NOT the only type of testosterone out there. I had a miserable experience on the topicals and thank goodness that's not what I still use! (Some guys have good success with them though...)
