EH, how much POM do you consume a day and how do you spread it out?
I don't have a preset practice or time for it. I'll drink it with meals, post-meals, but rarely pre-meals because I don't want to spoil my appetite. I generally drink between 4-8oz per day though, and I always drink it watered down heavily. The juice is pretty strong, and for me the flavor is much more delicious when watered down at least 1:4.
I have not yet tested my blood levels of anything after I started drinking POM (4 months ago), but I very much look forward to doing that as soon as I can. For me the results are definitely related to POM. It is the only thing I have consistently changed/added in those 4 months. There is nothing else that makes an obvious difference for me, except for tart cherry extract (Swansons) for arthritis issues (thumb), but I have taken that for 2 years now, and it had zero effect on my ED, but tremendous relief of thumb/hand joint pain.
For me it is very important that it is POM and not another brand. I had no effect from the Vitacost Pomegranate Extract, and Peak had poor results from the Trader Joes pomegranate juice. It is not that I like POM more, just that it is the only proven juice that I have encountered so far.
It is important to note the time to effect for POM. Mine was about 1 week. My friend's was a few weeks. Another user Golfboy recently wrote about his POM experience taking over a month to be notable. So patience is unfortunately required.
