This is why men are so disappointed with doctors
« on: June 28, 2012, 03:55:40 pm »
I just got my results for T-level and E2.
T=446
E2=41
when they called with the above results, I was told by my uroligist that these #'s are good and in range for someone my age.
Thank God I don't use him except to get the blood work.
This must be what everyone who has low-T goes thru. with them thinking those are good #'s

There's no magic number of course for every guy:  some guys do just fine with testosterone in the 400's.

But you've got another issue going on as well:  your estradiol is on the high side and your testosterone on the low side and so your ratio is obviously quite ugly.  In many ways these compete in us guys and this is bound to cause you some issues.

Talk to your doc about this one and - sorry I can't remember - but if you are overweight start to drop those pounds to help get both those number in line if at all possible...

If you are on medications or have a medical condition, always check with your doctor first before making any lifestyle changes or taking new supplements.  And low testosterone is a medical condition.
