Okay, this is a bizarre story, but it has REALLY helped me, so I guess I'll share it. I have long known that I sleep horribly on my back and I have even woken sometimes with stopped breathing/choking. Almost every morning I wake up feeling unrefreshed. Sleeping on my back is also hard on my lower back - as I've mentioned, I have some lower back problems. I also snore sometimes on my back, etc.
But I was unsure how to keep myself off of my back. I think someone on the forum had something rigged up with tennis balls on his back, so when he slept on his back it would wake him up. I told my wife that story and she said, "Why would you do something painful?!?" She then suggested that I just strap a big pillow on my back with a belt.
I thought about that a little bit and went to Target and bought a couple of big men's belts and that's exactly what I have done the last couple of nights. Basically, I use two belts and strap a good size pillow on my back, so that there is so real way for me to roll onto my back. It would be the equivalent of a turtle rolling onto it's back.

So it's not very sexy and I feel like Quasimodo, but man have I slept great!! Oh yeah - I am a new PeakT!!
The moral of the story? Do what you gotta do to get good sleep even if you feel like a leper or a girly man. Strap on these CPAPs! Put on those eye masks!
No, seriously, a lot of guys resort to toxic pharmaceuticals - in my opinion Ambien fits in this category - and I wonder how often they could help themselves with just a little homemade ingenuity.
Also, just when you think you've made all the health improvements you can make, you realize you're actually just starting! Seriously, diet, certain foods, HRT, exercise - all of these have been quantum leaps for me as I've improved my health. Now I've got to work on sleep I guess...
