I use a level teaspoon about 3 times per day. The amount of water doesn't really matter except for your own taste. I don't drink much more simply because it will give me heartburn if I do. Cocoa relaxes the valve a little that goes between the stomach and throat if you have too much.
By the way, if you're a blender guy, if you put these in your smoothies, it actually tastes very good. Gives it a semi-chocolatey flavor w/o all the fat and casein.
