Nebido, arimidex, Amoxicillin, Esomeprazole and Clarithromycin?
« on: January 24, 2015, 08:24:36 am »
Hi, yesterday i got a 3 inch tube pushed down my throat(guess i know how pornstars feels at the end of a workday) and the duodenum didnt look to well so i got some medication to kill off Helicobacter pylori, unfortunately i meet a clowndoctor that didnt even gave me any information how to use the medication or bothered to check if i can use this kind of medication.
I have already found a number of interactions with other medication, some not serious at all others could in a worse case scenario end in death.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esomeprazole
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clarithromycin

2 enzymes (CYP3A4, CYP2C19)  are affected and can in turn make other medications both stronger and weaker but are nebido and arimidex affected by this?

Regards

Sorry to hear about the GI issues.  Watch out for C Diff with all those antibiotics.  Can you take some probiotics mid dose to hopefully help out?

Don't know about that.  This is the one that pomegranate juice can effect.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CYP3A4

"CYP3A4 alleles which have been reported to have minimal function compared to wild-type include CYP3A4*6 (an A17776 insertion) and CYP3A4*17 (F189S). Both of these SNPs led to decreased catalytic activity with certain ligands, including testosterone and nifedipine in comparison to wild-type metabolism.[20]"
