Anyone Taking Anastrozole 2X Weekly Similar to Me?

Would need some more information.  What is your current E2, and what lab test did you use (standard, sensitive, etc.)?

.5mg is a lot at one-time. I recommend .25mg, being crashed out E2 is no good.

I was on a similar protocol and I have been on .5 two times a week and .25 two times a week.  The key was to make sure it was either Monday Thursday or Tuesday Friday.

Some guys are sensitive to Arimidex and will crash their estradiol with either dose.  We've had a couple of guys on here experience that - which isn't fun needless to say.

yeah my current (as of last week) protocol is/was:

50mg/2x weekly T Subq
100IU HCG/Daily

latest labs on that protocol:
Total T 467  ng/dL
Free T 14.2  pg/mL
E2 (sensitive) 19.7 pg/mL
SHBG: 18.5 nmol/L
Hemoglobin: 16 g/dL
Hematocrit:47.3 %

After consult, changes were the following:
100mg/2x weekly SubQ
.5mg Anastrozole on T injection days
100IU HcG daily

So only change was to double my T dose and add the Anastrozole as my E2 will most definitely go up and get over the 30 I am sure.

I have never taken Anaastrozole or an AI so just wondering if anyone else is and hearing from their experiences.  I am always hesitant to start new meds.

I buy empty capsules, open the ones with the medications, dump some of the power into the empty then recap.

You can also dump the powder onto a plate, divide it visually into an equal number of piles and then scope up with an empty capsule.

You can also buy a very accurate scale (there are some pretty inexpensive ones on Amazon) and weigh out equal piles.

These techniques might be good enough for what you need.

From looking at your sig your T levels were best on clomid. Was there a reason it was stopped. Also Are you on 100mg Twice weekly now?

I mix my anastrozole with Vodka and custom tailor dosing to jsut about anything I want, <.25mg. For instance I take appx 18.75mg right now.

8mL Vodka + 2mg Anastrozole, this gives me 1cc of mixture = .25mg. You can divide it down from there. I use tablets but I suppose you can open a capsule and empty it.

How can you know you'll need something to control your e2? Why not test after a few weeks on your new protocol and then determine what may/may not be necessary?

sblavesc-> clomid was over a year ago.  Clomid started losing it strength and my T started to go down.  So doc thought clomid might have jump started my system to make its own.  It didn't was 250 -315 just by myself not help.  I will start shortly to go to 100mg 2x a week as prescribed, just waiting on the Anaz.

CoastWatcher->I know I will cause when I was on 150mg weekly IM dose my E2 went up to 50.  So going to 200mg weekly  SQ via 100mg 2x a week.  I am sure it will go over 30 and the doc seems to think so also thus the reason he is prescribing the anaz.

I dont think capsules are needed since anastrozole works when fine splitting pills, especially not if the capsules disolves in a few minutes in the mouth.

If they make my E2 crash, I should feel like shit right!?

And if so how long til I recover if I stop taking the AI?
