Is Priligy approved by FDA in USA?
« on: June 22, 2015, 06:28:27 am »
Hi,
I have been reading on Priligy(it's a SSRI used to prevent P.E.) on this site. When I did a search on it, I saw a few sites mentioning it's not approved by FDA in USA, is that the latest?
Is there a way to find out the FDA approval status on a drug?
And if not approved, is there any reputable sites that sell it without a prescription?
Thanks very much,

Sorry Peyt.  You're right - it looks like in Phase III right now:

I did a search on line and it says a big portion of men that use SSRI's in a small dose use it for PE
Priligy is also a SSRI but supposedly with a lot less side effects that traditional SSRIs create...... Knowing how evil drug companies are in United States, it would not be surprising to find out they are the ones manipulating the FDA to take longer to approve it.

Apparently it's been in Phase 3 since 2010!
if this drug hits the market it will take away lots of business from usage of Zoloft, Prozac, and Celexa.

I tried it (online import version - so I could never tell if it was legit) a few years ago when it first hit Europe. Didn't work worth a damn for me, and rather, dropped sex drive enough momentarily just like a proper SSRI would, enough to make a PDE5 inhibitor mandatory, and even then, still make it a struggle to follow through with anything.

It's possible they substituted another SSRI?

Quite very possibly - although for it to hit that hard that quickly like it is supposed to, got me wondering. The other usual suspects take a little longer to build.

From what I've heard over the subsequent years it's hit or miss and doesn't work for everyone. I have a buddy who takes it and insists it's so strong he can NOT finish no matter what he does. There's a bit of a placebo effect to be had as well, for sure I'd bet.

But the biggest downside I can assess is that it's not dose dependant. However long it gives you is however long it gives you, and taking more won't lengthen that time, it will only amplify the side effects - instant libido drop.

That's the silly thing about how the whole SSRI group work for PE. They just kill the over excitement by crushing your drive and numbing your senses, ruining the whole experience - although Priligy is supposed to do it momentarily and then get out of your body just as fast.

I've since found my staple for making Ron Jeremy blush by accident, but it's probably not wise to post here for a few reasons including being a testosterone killer if abused.

You can post it.  I may have to move it if it's too explicit or maybe you're saying it's on the chemical side.  Not sure what you mean here...

More worried about younger/unsuspecting eyes reading it and then going and abusing it. It's not something you can or should use every day.

Tramadol hydrochloride - a strong opiate painkiller for back pain.

Gotcha.  Well, that doesn't sound like a good long term solution, eh?
