i think Spidey really likes it...i started it maybe a month and a half ago, and i don't know if it was coincidence, but i felt sleep came quick, and suddenly i had pretty solid morning wood...that lasted about 5 days i think. So i did love it...

Now, i guess that initial blush wore off - i really don't "feel" it like i did there at the beginning at all. Now i take it when i think of it - i'm not taking it every night now.

Peak T u said  (Now imagine a guy taking 35 mg of copper  i think you mean Zin for testosterone for months or years. He will likely experience low copper levels and this could potentially lead to elevated inflammation and the steadily increasing hypertension associated with copper deficiency.

so you do see this product is harmful rather than helpful to intake daily or what do you think the best dose to intake ?

should also mention that if you get a lot of zinc in your diet, be careful with how much you supplement. Daily recommended dose for men is only 15mg....the ZMA dosage is 30mg zinc (three pills) plus the magnesium and B6.

I get 15mg zinc in my liquid multi, so when i take the ZMA, i usually just do two pills, which would be 20mg. So that puts me at 35mg a day via supplementation, and then whatever else is in diet.

i guess the problem would be copper depletion if you take too much zinc.

Oops!  Thanks for the edit.  I modified the page to say zinc instead of copper.

Zinc is VERY important.  Not only can it optimize or boost testosterone but it can also help control estrogen.  I lift a lot of weights and feel I need some extra nutrition.  I get about 1 RDA in my diet and then I try to supplement about an RDA, so I get 2 total RDA's per day.

That's just my own personal philosophy.  You'll have to do your own research and decide for yourself of course.

An interesting relatively new test for zinc deficiency is the zinc taste test.  You might want to check into that as well.

RDA is actually an outdated term for your Required Daily Allowance, or essentially your daily needs for that nutrient.

No one knows the answer to your question.  As far as I know there has been no research done on this on humans, i.e. any studies to show the dosage at which you start getting copper depletio and inflammation if that is what you are asking.  So that's why we are saying that an RDA or two is probably the safest route.

Btw, copper is a likely a huge neuron poison and we consume (in the U.S.) way too much of it.  But, obviously, you don't want to go to the other extreme...

Hi guys..been away on vacation ..just been catching up with posts.

ZMA ..oh yes I like...not only the zinc as Peak mentioned to help keep T at a max (and help with everything in your body!!) but the magnesium is fantastic for helping to induce sleep. I only have one cap a day usually 40 mins before bed and it definitely makes you sleepy.
One cap only equates to 10mg of  zinc (about 100% RDA) and 150mg of mag which is only 40% RDA.

IMO there is no way you could have copper depletion taking that amount and even double that amount as you lose a load of zinc whilst training having sex (approx 3mg seemingly!) taking alcohol etc..

Seems like 90% of us in the west are zinc deficient

Check out these couple of random links and you will take zinc everyday!

Yeah, it's tough to know how much to mention the copper depletion issue.  It's just that so many guys have the "more is always better" philosophy and will take tons of zinc.  And, as I've mentioned, we get too much copper in our diet anyway and are hammering our neurons.

So more research is needed as always!  I wish I had a trillion dollars and could fund about a 1,000 studies...
