It's a pro-cypionate, anti-Androgel crowd, eh?

Definitely, and ditto; I also stopped absorbing Androgel, but now have good results with subQ enanthate and hCG.

It makes sense that the ones who are happy with Androgel are less likely to end up here.
I am not a medical doctor; any suggestions are meant to be discussed with your doctor.
Age: 60, Ht: 5'10", Wt: 154 lbs
Protocol: 3.2 mg TE subQ qd, 2.4 mg TP subQ qd, 20 mcg GnRH subQ 5.25x/d, 6.25 mg DHEA bid, 12.5 mg enclomiphene qod
Approximate levels (peak): TT: 700 ng/dL, E2: 30 pg/mL, DHEA-S: 300 ug/dL, SHBG: 30 nMol/L

wow looks like cypionate injections are by far the way to go.

There are pros and cons to all the options.  I like cypionate myself, but it really depends on your goals and your life style, etc.

Wish I had a positive note to share!  :P

Cypionate = 4 (injections are not fun, cheap, testicle pain and shrinkage, only felt good 1 day so far in 6 weeks - will continue to week 10 to see if things finally improve)
Androgel = 4 (way too expensive, fairly convenient, felt great for first 2 days then nothing, stayed on for 5 weeks)
Clomid = 5 (easier to administer, cheap, mild headache, great T numbers but e2 slightly high, didn't feel any different, stayed on for 5 weeks)

I'm 6 weeks into a 10 week trial of Cypionate, and I'm hoping for the best, but if I had to pick the best option today I'd go with Clomid again and add an estradiol reducer.  I'm really bummed about the Androxal delay.

It was consistent, but just barely noticeable - 1 on a pain scale of 1 to 10.  Almost like the "thick head" feeling when you have a cold.

The brain is incredibly finely tuned.  If you're getting any pain, that's a very bad sign imo.

Good Day!

Merry Christmas and a Happy Prosperous New Year to all.

Good poll !!

I put my .02 in as HRT pellets: very satisfied !

It would be a good detail to add any other primary meds supporting the TRT/HRT, and frequency of application.

For myself, I also inject hCG 300 IU sub-q on Mon to Fri, and .05 mg Letrozole on Sunday evening.

Results: I feel great, excellent intimate relationship with my lover (over 7 years now), strong muscular body at age 63. T level stable
at approx 1,100.

Life is good !!

Enjoy the day with your lover and family. Cheers ! Sam D.
Age: 65 Weight: 153 pounds Height: 5ft 10 inch
Total HRT program: SottoPelle Testosterone Pellets every 6 months, 300 IU hCG sub-q M-F, .05 mg letrozole once weekly.

14 May 2015 blood work: Serum T: 1,264 ng/dL (one month since LAST pellet insert procedure);
                            Free Testosterone: 21.7 pg/mL
                            Estradiol (ultrasensitive): 17.4 pg/mL
                            PSA (Roche ECLIA): 3.1 ng/mL  (March 2014 = 2.6 ng/mL)
                            D3: 77 ng/dL
                            Prolactin: 7.0 ng/mL
Cortisol: 6.9 mcg/mL (down from 12.8 one year ago)

I am responsible for my enjoyment of my maleness. My success depends on my best efforts to stay healthy and live a positive lifestyle.
