Bio-identical vs. Synthetic Testosterone Creams?

Hi Guys,
Is there a place where I could read about the advantages and disadvantages of Bio-identical vs. Synthetic creams?
I have been on DHEA/T bio-identical cream for just a little over a month and feel no difference. The good news is there is
almost no side effects either that I can see/feel. But I am trying to figure out if this stuff works or not and how effective it is.
My Dr. wants me to re-test myself in 6 months (5 more months to go) but I don't really want to wait that long! Does the Bio-identical work super slow?

All testosterone is bio-identical.

The term bio-identical comes from women's HRT where some of the estrogens used by main stream medicine are not of the type found in the human body.

Difference in quality of bio-identical hormones? I mean the stuff I got was made in a
Compounding pharmacy and has the stuff in a tube where as I remember I had a roommate a few years ago who used T and his looked like a deodorant and he used insurance to get his , mine I paid cash and they send me supply for 6 months, I want the best quality and don't mind paying for it,

Well, if you get a good compounded cream, it will push your testosterone to wherever you and your doc want to go.  So the issue is not efficacy and I would argue that quite often the brand name T topicals don't raise testosterone much if at all.   We see guys on here all the time with that issue.

Now, as far as long-term safety from the absorption and preservatvie ingredients, I don't think anyone knows the answer to that on either side of the house.  I've never seen an article on the subject.

Deca Durabolin is a compound called Nandrolone.  It is attached to the decanoate ester.

How about the area of application?
My Doc said to apply to the perineal area, which I have been doing, but I wonder if some of the cream gets absorbed into  my clothing.

I didn't know it was!  Interesting.  Yeah, I know it has some other favorable properties as well - it's one of the more interesting steroids.  Can't remember, though, as I don't stay up on that.

In other words, it's not just bioidentical testosterone bound to an ester.

Ah ok, I see what you were getting at now.

I should have been more clear about Nandrolone rather than offering such an abbreviated definition of it.  Although it is structurally similar to testosterone, that simple deletion of the carbon atom makes it very different...and it certainly wouldn't be considered bio identical.

I didn't mean to imply that it is bio identical testosterone bound to an ester.  It's an entirely different compound (Nandrolone) which is bound to the decanoate ester.
