I read somewhere that if Hydroxycobalimin (a form of B12) works well for a person there is a high chance they have High (meaning excessively high) N.O.
Has anyone heard of that?
And what is the best way to measure N.O?
Thanks
The damage seems to occur when you get overly high iNO and nNO, i.e. the NO used by immune cells and neurons. One of the signs of this is possibly from pomegranate juice fed to rats:

I doubt that pomegranate juice in reasonable quantities causes problems, but the point is that more is not better. When I get pomegranate juice, I play it safe and just have 4 oz per day.
By the way, pomegrante juice has many great properties, but it can interact with medications and has been reported in a few cases of priapism when combined with PDE5 inhibitors.
