Incredible interview with Shaun Noorian of Empower Pharmacy, who is one of the top compounding pharmacies in the U.S.  His pharmacy can ship to all states in the U.S. and he has incredible quality control.

As you guys know, I think the compounding industry is fulfilling a huge hole in the hormone and health care market by providing products that are not GROSSLY OVERPRICED.  And Shaun is a leader in this movement from several standpoints, one being his attention to quality control.  The latter is incredibly important when it comes to injectable testosterones, something that Shaun discusses in this interview:

NOTE:  Shaun is now a site sponsor, so I hope you'll take the time to check out the interview and visit his site.

One other GREAT service Shawn provides are Fact Sheets that you can provide your doctor.  Almost every doctor knows and has used compounding pharmacies for various medications.  However, very few have used them for compounded hormonal or men's health products.  Shaun has great Fact Sheets here that you can print out for your physician to point them in the right direction:

If you are on medications or have a medical condition, always check with your doctor first before making any lifestyle changes or taking new supplements.  And low testosterone is a medical condition.

I split out some discussion as to whether testosterone creams or gels were better:

Just have to say, the fact sheets are awesome!

Please make use of this guys. Print off and bring to your doc.

TRT is a great, but I've been fortunate enough to stay off it so far.

I almost needed it.

OCD kicked in and I was able to increase my testosterone from 412ng/dl to 923ng/dl using science backed (primarily lifestyle) interventions.

I blog about my experience and testosterone science on AndrogenHacker.com.

I don't claim to be some testosterone guru or something. Just a regular guy who is enjoys helping others who are currently in the terrible situation I was in.

I'm always open to PMs if you need anything specific, but usually it's best to ask questions in the forum so you can get lots of different perspectives.

Kind Regards,

David, RN, CCRN
